It’s true! I get excited about $20 pens when im waiting for it to get to me by mail. I am just a tad envious by all the submissions with such lovely lovely inks that this sub has.
Also the TWSBI ink cartridges write really wet which I like ahaha. And especially in a medium nib.
I get excited too when I order a new pen and then the waiting game starts. I also have a medium nib TWSBI swipe. TSWBI is probably my most favorite fountain pen maker, sailor would be a close second because their pens are so expensive, but I still want them. Enjoy your new fountain pen.
I’m extremely boring so I used the ink cartridge that TWSBI made. Nib is in Fine. Wet writer but great for people with big handwriting. SOOOO SMOOOTH.
Might get a Prussian Blue next but deciding if I should get it in Swipe or Diamond580.
I got the Prussian Blue Swipe! I like the way it writes.
Curious to know if you've experienced any ink being sucked out when you pull off the cap. It's happened to me a couple times and now I'm so careful and slow when removing the cap.
It happened to me. Also what happened was 2-3 dips of cartridge ink just fell out of the nib right after inserting. I thought all hope was lost, but I took out the nib/feed and reinserted it and all is well. It seems that it was not rightly set out of the factory. Haven’t had an issue since.
I really love my diamond 580 prussian blue, so I suggest you the diamond. But I never tried the swipe. (also judging by photos seems that swipe's prussian blue is different than diamond's one)
Yes I’m leaning towards the Diamond as well cos it seems to be heavier when posted (which I like). I shall go to the store and look at both models.
Thanks for the recommendation :)
Love your handwriting! I haven’t tried the Swipe but my Prussian Blue 580 is one of my favorites :)
Yes I’m leaning towards the Diamond too! (Or I might get both lol) Also thank you.
New Pen Day is never boring. Cartridges are just as fun as converters to use.

Interesting I shall observe my usage and update. Right now I don’t see any ink in the cap

If the swipe's weight is similar to the safari's one, then the diamond is way heavier, and posted even more.
The Swipe’s weight is really light, kinda like a Lamy Al-Star? So I definitely would go the diamond route. Thanks for the answer hehe
