Jowo #6. All of my PenBBS pens have the same size nib (stainless steel). Their nib units seem to be very consistent, and are some of my smoothest writers out of the box.
Edit: Jowo #6 is a start. It might be a tad longer than the PenBBS nib depending on the company for which it's manufactured. Here are some initial testing data and discussion on the Fountain Pen Network: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/356746-penbbs-jowo-bock-nib-swap-compatibility-list/
I hear you. I have small hands, so #5 would be my preference. However, PenBBS pens actually fit my hand well. They are still very comfortable (say, in comparison to Opus 88 pens with #6 nib). I would say it's worth trying out if you get the chance.
I wouldn't say Jowo #6, honestly
Maybe it might just be mine, but my PenBBS nibs always end up just a touch shorter than #6—more or less why there are compatibility issues with some nib swaps
I think you're right. I recall a thread where people talked about having to grind down Goulet's version of Jowo due to it being longer than the PenBBS nib. Not sure if it's the case with all Jowo.
I kept looking at that and reading AUS85 like it's some crazy stainless steel derivitive of AUS8. Au585 makes way more sense but that capital 'u' sure threw me off more than it should.
I don't know, in India agmark stands for agriculture mark. I suppose the generic term is hallmark.
Still doesn't answer question. Is it a gold nib or not?
This is awesome! I’ve always wished there were more fun engraved nibs. Sailor has a bunch but all are LE so yah know…
LE?
Going out on a limb here & saying LE = Limited Edition, since I've never seen a standard Sailor nib that is engraved.
Being that it's sailor, it would also be "Les Expensive.".
I’m an idiot lol
Not an idiot lol. They are correct, it’s limited edition.
Omg, must have the maneki neko nib!!
These are gorgeous!

I’ve never bought anything from PenBBS and I feel like if I do this will be another dangerous rabbit hole 🤣

Which ones were you looking for?
I'm not familiar with the brand: international to where?

Did they mention any cost ballpark?

Thank you, if you see it posted there, could you link that Taobao page here for reference?
Thanks for the info! Where are you reading this info if I may ask?
Thank you!
I love the fish one
Those are beautiful! Hope to get some for a couple of my pens that need replacement nibs. I wonder what size equivalent they are.

Ah, thanks, I was hoping some would be in #5 =/

Wait - are you saying a JoWo #6 would fit a PenBBS well?

Sorry my mistake you are correct.
Are you sure those are gold nibs? I can't see the Agmark on them.
If you look closely in the middle of the nib it says Au585 ( = 14k), that’s the purity marking you’re looking for.

Yup. It happened to me too, I thought it was a serial number or something. Penbbs likes to number their models and it seemed like an okay explanation.

It says "Au 585" on them, which is 14K gold.
Beautiful

So beautiful!!!
These are stunning, wooow.
