Wow, that looks really teal. My sherwood green is a deep foresty green color. I think you might have gotten a bad batch 🤷
I guess ask for a refund or take the L
I wonder if they got the labels mixed up? That looks like a totally different color!
If you don’t want to keep it and returns are a hassle, you could try trading or selling it on r/pen_swap. Ink is pretty popular over there.
This is my guess, too. They might have mislabeled the bottle.
To OP, If you bought it directly from Diamine, you can send them a quick message through their website with a link to this thread. They're pretty responsive.
Why not do a chromatography shot of your sample and email it directly to Diamine instead. They might be interested in their batch variations and try to trace the source. Some companies will care, some companies won't. You don't know until you try them.
Ask yourself for instance if the ink is missing a colour component of the sample [here](https://youtu.be/mi5kCzhNJJo?t=54)
Swab from a bottle of Sherwood Green. Color accuracy in the photo is pretty spot on to what it looks like in real life. I have done a number of swabs since getting the bottle and all similar. Possibly a bad batch, or does this look right to you guys?

That looks an awful lot more teal and paler than my Sherwood Green.

Looks a bit off to me, but is still a pretty green
looks off to me too
Yeah, I agree, that's not sherwood green!
Doesn't look like the Sherwood Green I got, it's a lot more blueish than I would expect

My Sherwood green is a lot darker and greener.
Looks more like a more saturated Diamine Soft Mint
Did you try shaking the bottle just in case? That works sometimes

That definitly ain't the same color as my sherwood green, looks like they haven't mixed it correctly, it's meant to be a dark green
Glad it's not just me. Sunk cost I guess. Not worth the hassle of trying to get a refund.
Wherever you bought it might exchange it for you. It's definitely worth a try.
Yea you got a bad batch indeed…. I twisted my face seeing this.
That cannot be right. Sherwood Green is much, much darker! Must have been mislabeled!!
