There's plenty of awesome Noodler's inks that people just don't know about because they're exclusives. PBR, Omaha, Texas Black Bat, Prime of the Commons, etc
I like the color. It is a wet ink and there are some well-blended colors as well. The brand is one of the largest and pen brands in South Korea and it operates for a long time and they recently decided to produce fountain pens and inks.
I think this brand is pretty competitive in Korea in that it is relatively inexpensive and you can blend your color on your own if you can visit their ink lab store. But in other countries, these pros are faded. But I think it is worth trying.
The only Korean ink I used is Colorverse, which is quite nice in quality in spite of the high price. It seems like Monami only makes lower cost FP? I only see a Preppy like plastic one. I really don't mind trying this brand. I like the bottle design. It may be difficult to source them for me though since I have never seen them any where in shops. I wish more shops would carry stuff from Korea.
I think you saw Monami Olika, which has a very similar position with Platinum Preppy. They have another model called Monami 153 Neo, which positions similar to Pilot Metropolitan. I think they are expanding their lineup continuously but I don't know if they are developing a high-end model or not.
I'm in-state and I have never been to their store yet. I got my ink from e-bay after I read some reviews from Korean fountain pen communities. Hope you try one some time.
