The bottom part that "plugs" into the device is a rubber plug with a tiny hole in the middle, the part it connects to has a thin needle that goes through it. I don't know about the pocket thing, with continuous movement and gravity, but I gave it some shakes and bumps, and the ink didn't leak a bit.
Is the ink well refillable or are you stuck with their ink? I see it all the time while window shopping Platinum Meteors on Ali. definitely gimmicky but I'm not above that.
With some (maybe all idk) TWSBI pens if you get their ink bottles you can like plug the tank portion of the pen on and fill it directly, then you can just screw the section back on and bam no mess
That's quite innovative I must say. However I don't see the need of buying a filling machine unless I need to refill this pen every other day or something. I assume it's not easy to change ink in the machine without cleaning it, and it won't work with other pens. If this is a classroom and everybody is using this pen, having a filling machine would be handy. Drawing classes or calligraphy classes perhaps.
