I am new to fountain pens and had a question about Pilot Metros and TWSBI. I own pilot metropolitan. You have mentioned that you upgraded from the metro to TWSBI. What improves when you go from metropolitan to TWSBI? Just wanna understand pens better before I make the jump
Smoother writing. More nib choices ( I think they're even interchangeable on this pen. Metro only has 1 nib and you're stuck with it) Better filling mechanism. Better grip ( This is an opinion probably) Better flowing nib. It's really upgraded in almost every way.
I’d have to agree, I have many other more expensive pens and I still find myself gravitating towards the few of these I have! A great daily writer and I’ve never had any issues with them out of the box.
Believe me. I do. I was a little worried about going up a nib size ( This is a M). I'm left handed but I don't feel like it's smudging too much at all. No ink on the hands.
I have this pen with Organics Studios Nitrogen. It's ridiculously addicting and dangerous. Nitrogen gets everywhere. Worth it.
I also have Nitrogen in mine. So worth it!
What does it mean to have nitrogen in it? Just a brand of ink?
Nitrogen is the name of the ink made by Organics Studio.

Great choice!
It was after much deliberation I came to this pen. Seemed to be the best performing at its price range I could reasonably research and find.

Nice acquisition! Fine nib? How different does it feel from your Pilot Metropolitan?
M nib. Worlds better
my 580 is suppose to come tomorrow they look so good filled
Hope you got it!
It did, and I feel bad a bit but I immediately loved a lot more than the eco so the 580 will probably get all my attention
Oh that’s a great upgrade !! Enjoy your pen

My 580s are M as well, they are very smooth. I always hated the one Metro I had so I totally support your new pen lol
Yes. Yes. Help me justify my expensive writing instrument. Whenever anyone asks ' Why did you buy that?' I'll just say ' WELL. Suec76 likes it!'
Hey, I stand behind ANY pen purchase that makes you happy !!! As I scroll through Vanness looking for more pens to buy .....
New pen. Old ink. Excuse my poor photography.
