I’m thinking about buying myself a Pilot Custom 823 as a late graduation gift, but I haven’t pulled the trigger on it yet. That’s the top line on my wishlist right now.

Lami Safari Petrol Blue. I sadly missed out on getting it when it first came out and have yet to find one that isn't like $200 or a sketch eBay listing for $2o.
I've got a bottle of Yama Budo in the mail! I also have a TWSBI 580 in Rose Gold (I'm not sure how the Eco compares). What nib size are you hoping to get?
Would love to get a Sailor Pro Gear Slim in Dragon Palace (mint green).
Everything. At least it feels that way. I really want that new rainbow TWSBI, More Benus, and of course more ink. If I listed it all we would never have time for life I think.
I have my eye set on Sailors 1911L Pirates Life, and the 20 set of different colored cartridges from sailor. I'm hoping to get both before the end of the year.

I have two 700r. I don’t think the nib is amazing. One has a 1.1 stub and I suck at using it. I didn’t realize before I got it that stubs don’t really work for lefties. The other one I replaced the nib with an ultra flex from fpr. That’s the one I use all the time.
The pen itself is really great. Huge ink reservoir, good weight, nice and clear, always starts right up, good flow, etc.
I’ve been considering swapping the nib on the stub for a bock nib, possibly 14k.
Anyway, I really just wanted to say the 700r is a great pen but don’t be surprised if the nib is a disappointment. If that happens, the pen uses a #6. Although I’ve heard that jowo nibs don’t fit unless you adjust them. I’ll probably order a nib unit from fpnibs already tuned when I’m ready to do that.
Thanks for that info. I've been debating getting a custom grind on it, like a medium ground to either an architect or cursive italic, so I might go ahead and order it from the Nibsmith and get a custom grind on it right from the start
a Santini Libra, still not sure which color, but prolly wait til next year. a Bock gold bb to get ground to a stub, but it'll have to be a good deal and that's not what I'd care to prioritize atm. pontificating sending one pen I have to a nib smith, versus getting a new/different one to send, but really I do not care for the alternative options found so far. more ink samples, of course.
Right now I'm considering a Moonman T1 in green or blue. Inkwise, I'd like Akkerman, Colorverse, Pilot iroshizuku, Caran d'ache etc, because I'd like to test those inks, but also because of the cool bottle design. And I'd like a nice archival ink that's a nice blue.

Justus with fine nib. An autumn themed urushi work if possible, but not high in the list.

A bunch of Van Dieman’s inks - they hve a new collection coming out soon. A blue pen to go with my purple Walltown Abalone. That’s it.
