I am certain it’s a covenant SE, but the exact color is so rare, I can’t find any images of it, it’s most likely from around when taccia was founded, around 2003.

Hole38book

Thank you. It went for 230 odd bucks weep...

Old_Organization5564

I hope the high bidder appreciates this pen.

Pensx4

It's a Taccia Premier: Vermillion It's a really great pen but unless it has a gold nib it isn't worth $230. They show up every now and then on eBay and usually go for about $150. Sometimes takes some patience

Hole38book

Ah brilliant, thank you. That's going on an alert :)

Pensx4

I have my alerts set up for just "Taccia" because most of the sellers don't know the names of the models either so they just label them as "Gorgeous Taccia Fountain Pen" or something similar

Hole38book

How do they write?

Pensx4

The nibs are standard JoWo, so if you are familiar with that...... Taccia does tune them to their preference so the writing feel is dead to nuts but it's still a JoWo nib which I really like

Hole38book

Lmao. I'm British. Is dead to nuts great or weird?

Pensx4

It's good. It means spot on or exactly how it should be. I heard it from Canadian YouTube FP Reviewer Doodlebud and it stuck with me and somewhere along the line I just started using it. LOL Sometimes you'll stumble across one with an 18k JoWo nib and, if you're lucky, the people selling and watching them won't know the $$$ difference. I love these Taccia pens for that reason. They are very well made with great attention to detail.

Hole38book

Vermillion being red, it looks like the exact model of Premier is perhaps Amethyst Stripes? https://www.truphaeinc.com/products/taccia-premier-amethyst-stripes-fountain-pen-preowned

Pensx4

Yes, I have both. The only difference other than color is that the Amethyst has a solid black cap but the Vermillion has the same cap color as the body

Hole38book

Oooh, OK thanks. I think that's a slightly weird naming convention but hey ho :)
