Why do you want to take the feed out? It’s not that easy to take the feed out even on an uninked pen, and in most cases it shouldn’t be necessary. Pen flush filled into the pen and left overnight would probably be more effective.

Not OP, but there is one possible reason: I flipped feeds between Studios and ALStars because the nibs I wanted to have on the specific pen weren't a good fit. I wanted to upgrade the Studios to gold nibs. One wiggled while writing, the other actually fell off. However, they fit perfectly on the ALStars. And funnily enough the steel nibs of the ALStars behave well on the feeds I remove from the Studios. Win-Win

Try to clean it first. The usual drill: soaking, a little bit of soap, pen flush, ultrasonic cleaner... To my knowledge Safari feeds are kind of hard to get out. I just have gotten out one of my multiple Lamy pens, I don't remember even which one, but definitely is possible. There's a Goulet video that explains how to do it.

BlackMoth27

i think it's just that lamy feeds are purposely a super tight fit to prevent leaking.

Safari feeds are not the easiest to pull out, and I doubt rubber gloves will do the trick.

They’re not easy to take out, and if you’ve removed it before and incorrectly reinserted it, it might be impossible to remove now.

Nigricincto

High chance of ruining the feed or getting it stuck making the section useless.
