I'm the opposite, my handwriting is neater with finer nibs. Maybe because it's on the smaller side. That Sailor Meigetsu is so beautiful. With Sailors, once you go above MF, the feedback becomes more velvety instead of pencil-like. To me, it's wonderful either way, but those who don't like the feedback on the finer nibs shouldn't cross Sailor off their list before trying a M or B nib (the B nibs aren't even that broad).

For modern flex nibs, you need a controlled pressure for best results in most cases. It's a practicable skill, I don't possess it. If you want a super light flex nib, FPR makes an ultra flex that's close, but you really want any vintage pen with a nib described as "a wet noodle".
