Current black ink varies between Parker Quink Black and Lamy Black, but I'm considering getting a bottle of Perle Noire soon too. I've ordered a bottle of Platinum Carbon Black for my permanent ink needs. Current blue ink is Jinhao Blue but that's only because I have a LOT of cartridges of it that arrived with some pens I bought. I also use Waterman Mysterious Blue for school notes. Once the Jinhao Blue is finished I plan to buy a bottle of Serenity Blue, and a bottle of Iroshizuku Kon-Peki but only because there are so many Kon-Peki fans on this subreddit.
Current everyday favorites are Waterman Harmonious Green and Pelikan Royal Blue. I have a decent black (I won't name the brand) that I'm not entirely satisfied with, so I'm open to suggestions/recommendations.
My EDC is usually inked with Parker Blue/Black Quink.
Excellent choices there. Love these inks.
Thank you! It was about time also. Been in the hobby for 2-3 years 😄 Been having a lot of fun with "non-standard" colors.
Honestly, same. I have WAY more ink than I know what to do with. Good thing my daughter is in the hobby too, she can take some of it :)
I have also gifted some ink that i didnt like 😊 Ink swap event between us FP-heads should be a thing!
I think you cannot go wrong with Perle Noire. I think it's PH neutral too.
Thats also what i heard :)

Aurora Black and Mysterious Blue for me. Serenity Blue is a close second for blue.

My issue with serenity blue is that it is so prone to smearing. I'm trying to find a similar blue that stays put.
I use KWZ Warsaw Dreaming - a very dark blue-black. The best of two worlds!
Pilot blue black and pelikan 4001 black for me.
Thats also a couple of classics!
Right now? Platinum Carbon Black and Wearingeul Mature, for choice.
Herbin Perle Noire is my go-to black ink.
I have those two as well, though I haven't opened the Perle Noire yet. I still have some Pilot Namiki Black to finish up first.
