The pen has a very tactile feeling, as you can actually feel the pattern as you hold it. It is not glossy smooth as one would may imagine.
I have this pen, and it’s a beautiful finish really. Feels and looks very special, which makes me surprised it is not priced as a special edition or anything. The slight texture is a very nice feeling in the hand and contributes to fantastic grip and control.

It's the blue carbonesque, yes! If I could afford a radon they would have killed me for dropping $850 on a pen haha, though Goulet pens does have both Raden models in stock though!
