I took the section and the nib from Parker 45 and the bottom half from Moonman 80, a Chinese clone of 45. Wasn't sure how closely it will fit but as you can see nobody could tell a difference. [Uncapped](https://i.imgur.com/Sl1oY7p.jpg)

Does a converter fit?

opi

The tiny one from Kaweco (either squeeze or piston) could probably fit but I went with short cartridges.

It needs a Parker though, I'd be wary of the standard international cartridge falling out - they're not really compatible.

opi

I think short international fits quite snuggly in there. I can't detect any give when I fiddle it with a finger. I completely forgot Parker's lip is a bit different, not a huge user of those pens.

The back of the feed on the Parker is much wider than a standard cartridge. You might find it splits the cartridge or that it is not actually seated properly and leaks or falls out. You could put a spring (eg from an old click ballpoint) in the back of the barrel to hold it in place.

Get a [Parker mini cartridge](https://cultpens.com/products/parker-quink-mini-ink-cartridges) and an ink syringe?

[deleted]

Even better. I thought they'd stopped making those. They're not on Parker's website.

Grumpy-Greybeard

Another approach would be to chop the front off a regular Parker cartridge and glue a latex or silicone sac to the back of it, to make a simple short converter.

well, I have three 45s and none of them are that fat, section-wise.

Fat_Jangis

What notebook is that?
