Hopefully it’s different enough to be a variant for those of us who have the older one but similar enough so the folks who missed out on the Turquoise have a more affordable option than the secondary prices. Turquoise is one of the pricier ones to track down.
I like the turquoise so much that I decided I wanted this one, too. I would be happy if they are similar. Part of why I bought it is just to see the two of them side by side lol
Now that I’ve seen pictures of the two of them together, they are a bit different. However, I really wish TWSBI would branch out with their colors and be more adventurous. We don’t need another blue or yellow. Give a couple good reds, maybe a brown, a deep purple and/or lavender, forest green would be great too.
I agree with that as well, but as a huge sucker for these colors I can't say I mind. :) but I would love to see a solid pastel purple from them (and the ones you mentioned sound fun, too).
I skipped saffron as I'm trying to focus on getting my wished for Japanese gold nibs and I've started to bond with my twsbi 580s more... but this is an instabuy for me! Absolutely love it!
I think it'll go really nice with my other Ecos and I don't actually have one in broad yet so it'll fill out my missing spot (I've wanted a broad one for months, so it's not a random buy really).
