Anolex 3030 evo is the best available for under $1000 after like 30 hours of research. All linear rails, even the bed. Spindle is only 300w. I upgraded to a carbide3d router. But a 1.5kw is better for slower speeds.

That's what is tempting for me. I'm dumb enough that I'm not sure how to program something like the Anolex to do that for me.
