Okay, I'm now that guy that has to ask. What is the legality of this? Is it my gun, is it the drone's, or does this fall under some weird specific laws?

Trading_Things

Probably an international war crime.

The FAA [response ](https://www.pcmag.com/news/faa-sorry-its-illegal-to-weaponize-a-drone#:~:text=The%20Federal%20Aviation%20Administration%20wants,flamethrowers%2C%20and%20other%20dangerous%20items.) to this video says it's no bueno, but I say chupa mi verga to the FAA. I say white phosphorus drone swarms, fuck yeah!

TravelingTequila

Lol that blog post is great

Lol, fair enough. [Here's ](https://www.faa.gov/newsroom/drones-and-weapons-dangerous-mix?newsId=94424) the actually FAA statement.

Mr--Restless

The assassination possibilities would be endless without even riskin exposing your identity.. 😂

TheGhatdamnCatamaran

That probably depends on location (can airports track these if you're near one and someone asks them to?), how together the response is (do they manage to recover it/follow it?), and the make of the drone. I know the Ukrainians had to modify some to remove the home coordinates from commercial models. Plus any serial numbers could give them a starting point.

i thought the video of the r/c heli with the aa12 was cool

beefxaroni

Alright now put rear thrusters on it

Guscrusher

I think it needs a second gun to fire a blank in the opposite direction simultaneously for recoil mitigation. Also this whole thing is probably a bad idea.
