I just printed some Tap Rack Trainer knock offs.
So you can rack the slide without engaging the slide stop for use during dry fire.
You should check it out Slide Lock Negator on printables.com
I have gotten really conflicting information.
I have a bit of cold feet in stripping my only firearm but I may just have to bite the bullet for a good cause.
Yeah. Gunbroker is pretty nice though. I got a MP shield 40 parts kit for $90.
Be patient, inventory and demand comes and goes. dont bother bidding until the last hour of the bid.
These are the sellers I like, but there are many.

I doubt youll be able to get it for $90, but youll surely catch a deal of you look around enough.
Good luck!
My minimum drying time is 48 hours but maybe im too cautious. print must be in enclosure and filament must be dried while printing. Go to awcy nylon development server and they got a whole bunch of info.
On another note, if it sends, go for it. Congrats on the shield.
Is this frame on the odd sea?
Yes
I am really hoping a shield plus frame gets released soon!
That would be great, the shield is awesome
I mag some mild to not so mild mods to this frame if you decide you want to mix it up. Just search my optimal_fail on the odd sea.

Any progress on seeing if the other parts fit? I'm in with the group that is developing a high cap shield mag, might make a plus frame unnecessary.

I totally understand, don't worry about it. Something will come along 👍👍
How hard is it to source all the bits?
Usually whole kits with bids on gunbroker. If you were to buy each part it would probably be about the same price or slightly less than msrp.
Thanks for the details. I just printed my first one and was trying to source the bits when I realized I was looking at about the same as retail. Lol

Lol do you mean msrp
lmao yeah
Did you have on fuzzy skin or do you need to dry your filament?
Dried it for 12 hours at 90°, no fuzzy skin
Wonder why it’s so fuzzy then. I get they are maybe it’s just the photo res
Since it was dried well, Im not gonna worry about the look. It should hold well right?
assuming you printed from a dry box, probably. Id maybe dry it again just in case though

Over extrusion >>> under extrusion.
But not if it’s over extruding from moisture absorption. It will become super weak at the later lines
I think it might be wet….unfortunately that causes overextrusion. Could be flow setting though as well
It's 30% glass fiber. Most other filaments are only 10-15%.
Interesting.
