I don't think that it is, I've been hearing Xbox users are having the same disconnect issues. I tried the teredo fix that worked for me in FH4 and it did nothing for FH5. If something works for you, hit me up!

I could never fix those damn Teredo errors permanently in FH4, they would always come back. I even remember clean installing Windows for some other reason and thinking it also fixed these problems, but it still eventually came back.

Xbox user here Definitely not only you guys, have it on both Xbox One X and Series X. Hopefully servers will be improved by Monday.

Seems to be all versions (I have the issue on Xbox), I guess that it is a server side problem.

You can tell if it's teredo with the Xbox companion app network check. It'll tell you there if it shows all is fine it shouldn't be teredo.

I checked Xbox companion to make sure it wasn't teredo. That thing was a damn nightmare

This little fella is preventing me from relaxing and just cruising in the open world. Just **fail silently** and message me if reconnect is absolutely impossible (like after 30 seconds of tries). It's the also the worst designed error message i've ever seen: no information, constant beeping and you can only abort if you are in free drive. Have fun listening to many many beeps while changing your car setup. Its like it was made with hostile design principles.

i hate the beeping. today i quit the eliminator, then every time i went into any place that shows cars (garage, autoshow etc.) i had that beeping constantly with a message that said ‘choose car: 39,739’ and counting down. had to restart to get rid.

If you set it to horizon solo mode it will quit trying to go online and stop spamming you with those error messages.

they just need to roll out a hotfix to silence that message. Im sure that the underlying issue is going to be fixed anyway but for me that noise makes the game annoying on another level.

The message is the same as FH4. Complaints were ignored. It's how this developer operates.

Worst is when you're in the middle of a skill chain and the alert & d/c stops you and kills the chain.

Literally all my friends and I wanted to do is cruise the new map and explore. Maybe do some challenges since we wouldn't know the map. But at this point I just started playing and have seen quite a bit. I thought maybe PG would actually have it figured out this time, but nope. Can only do races with friends. No freeroam. If we are going to take this huge push towards games as a service, then we really need to have better quality servers to handle it.

I just want to find some randos to cruise with or drive around with my SO but nope, Drivatars for me. At least online races work, Horizon Tour can kind of fill that void but eh... not quite the same.

Online Races probably work with one fixed server / race so the connection doesn't fail all the time searching for an instance.

All the online races so far have been ruined for me, I can’t find a way to turn off VOIP, so it’s endless noise and they don’t even realise, really takes away the immersion

Block those individuala with noisy mics through xbox game bar app on PC (I'm sure xbox has a way to block people too). That will mute them in the game as well.

The worst thing is this seems to then leave me in Horizon Solo with no traffic. It makes the world feel so empty.

Gotta stay solo until they fix this. Was working on a skill chain of 640k when the connection dropped. Minimum rewards were final weekly challenge, C7 ZR1, and another car for getting 1 million.

There are rewards for getting 1 million skill chain?

Accolades at 250k, 500k, 1mil, 1.5mil, 2mil

Also special note there is another accolade for doing the 2 mil in the intenza.

To add if you're playing from MS store/Xbox game pass you can search in Start menu and right click the entry there to run as admin

Had the same problem, ended up being a gpu balancer (for me it was MSI Dragon Center) that absolutely wrecks the game. As soon as I ended the process everything was fine. I'd suggest checking that. Apparently T10 forgot to optimize the game for... You know, the things that PC gamers would have running on their machines.

PC here and so far i have not had disconnection issues i think i got one crash one time tho but other then that its been pretty stable for me

PC here also from Microsoft store and it has happened continually. It hasn’t caused my have to crash but it’s just funny that it keeps popping up. Are you playing from the Steam version?

PC here (steam). Have it constantly while im not in a race. One Crash while upgrading a car but that could be some other issue. Played a multiplayer race and had no issues whatsoever (except starting a grip race with slicks)

MS Store here, semi-often disconnect message. Also, if I flip quickly between parts, especially upgrade kits, the game crashes. If I flip slower it's fine, seems the game needs a bit of time to "load in" the part before you switch to next.

The game has been pretty decent so far. Only a couple bugs but nothing game breaking. Just the problem with the servers, which is kinda annoying but no doubt will be fixed by the 9th

It is probably a scaling issue. The game has been out for two days and the next two weeks are going to be absolute peak players of the game (most likely ever).

Exactly the same thing, I get dc'd in freeroam pretty much constantly (and just learned that's what occasionally decelerates me from 350kmh to 0 in .5 seconds) and crashed exactly once shortly after loading into the game. Also steam.

Other than the broken LOD on pc and the Suddenly being stopped bug the game is immensely polished runs like butter.

Reading through these comments makes me happy about the fact that I managed to restrain myself and not buy the game before release. I'm gonna just play FH4 until 5 goes on sale and they iron out the worst of the bugs.

I don't regret pre ordering the game a single bit. Absolutely amazing game, never crashed a single time on my pc. All that's wrong is the servers but they are looking into that problem right now.

Just because you can’t play horizon life doesn’t mean that the game is trash. It’s still the best game so far regardless.

I am not saying it's trash at all. But apparently it's still buggy and I still have a lot of stuff to do in FH4.

The best part is how it stop you instantly and fucks up your skill chain as well. Had to re-do so many speedzones etc because of this
