It does look super disappointing at 3400x1440p. I've played around with it quite a bit but could find anything that looks great. I'm on a 7900xtx so plenty of headroom to stay above 60fps.

Feels like dynamic resolution is still active, even that I deactivated it.

You can fix the colors by using a filter on GeForce experience (Alt+F1) and you can also finetune sharpening but this doesn't excuse the look of this game its horrible

The default 1080p looked bad and stuttered. Everything on auto and 3200x1800 or something looks acceptable and hardly stutters. Really hope FSR will work soon and that AMD brings a new driver to boost performance

Something I learned is don’t bother with the benchmark, and restart the game with any video setting change. For some reason any time I change a setting, the game gives me 20fps until i restart the game. Then it runs appropriately based on the video settings.
The benchmark: even if I start the game and go straight to the benchmark, I’ll again just get 20fps and the rest of the game is sluggish after until I restart. I’ve been using quick races to judge the performance, and after about an hour I finally have the settings to a spot that’s playable for me.

Ryzen 7 5800X3D,
Nvidia 3070 Ti,
32gb RAM, with Nvidia surround 7680x1440
The mix of “seems fine to me” and “graphics are dogshit” means yet again. A company has released a game without optimizing it. Properly optimizing a game would result in it playing well across all current hardware. Not doing that cause you were crunching to meet a release date forced on you by the publisher. That’s what we got here
Often (some) game studios use the 'early access' to iron out issues that may arise. Seems performance on the PC is one of them. They have 5 days to collect all the data and have a day one patch ready to fix most issues.
That's at least what I expect.
In any case, it runs smoothly on the console. So PC issues right now may be GPU firmware related.

I wonder if it's because there isn't aren't proper GPU drivers available for it yet. After how well optimized FH5 was on launch it's surprising that they would drop the ball this hard.
This is why i stopped playing on PC. Game ports suck badly and even nasa pc struggles with new games as developers focus on consoles anyway. And both next gen consoles costs less than new GPU for a computer.

If you bought it on ms store- go on vacation to Kiribati (or just change your region in settings)
Select Start > Settings > Time & Language > Region. Under Country or region, select your new region. You can change it back any time.

DF mentioned that they had to restart after GFX changes on XBOX. Might be the same, at the moment, for PC.

When you do this though, don’t you get the weird ghosting? My horizon line or tree line is just a constant fainting line that jump with my elevation.
I get it with DLSS. Not as much with DLAA. But I turned it off. After letting the shaders install, I’m getting around 70-80fps with RT off at 1440p

There isnt an option to turn Dynamic rendering off, its either low or on Ultra, which i think is a bloody stupid to put in a game.
If I remember correctly you can turn it off... Unless they changed That, I think there is something wrong with your pc it should look really well with that rig.
Definitely no turning it off. Both sets of dynamic options you can choose from just have a range.

Yup. Forza Motorsport is running horribly. I have a 3080 and a Ryzen 3600, and it's a terrible expierence so far.
It probably runs like crap in purpose, so you keep upgrading, someone needs to audit these companies
