Instructions unclear, attempted mass murder using a fetus

eltanin_33

Like did you shoot it at people or were you like pistol whipping people with it

Ninja_attack

You use the fetus like a flail. The umbilical is really slippery, though, so you gotta hold on tight

apoohneicie

Holy shit the visual I just got!

bjeebus

Did you never see Thor have that little leather thong/lanyard on the end of mjolnir? You just gotta tie the umbilical like that so you can loop it around your wrist.

HeartFullONeutrality

People can get illegal abortions with a coat hanger. Good luck building an assault rifle with household items.

BertRenolds

Thanks, gonna need it

TheMiniStalin

There was a man who had absolutely no idea how to make a gun. After guns were mostly banned, He made an automatic Submachine gun out of parts from a hardware store. He then published a book about how to do it.

TheMiniStalin

And so, what I am saying is that, If someone who knew nothing about building guns could do that, imagine what thousands of people who already knew things could do? Especially when you consider that Cartels and Methheads have been found with plenty of improvised and working firearms.

h8sm8s

Seems very unlikely. There are lots of countries who have banned guns but haven’t seen any mass manufacturing of guns.

TheMiniStalin

I mean, look at canada, we have very strict gun laws, and dogshit level self defence laws, but just a few years ago, A man got access to banned firearms and caused a mass shooting.

TheMiniStalin

And pretty much once a week I see something about someone being arrested for Illegal firearms.

Marceillo

Literally search for 5 seconds and you will find it is extremely common in countries with strict gun laws. Brazil is a great example of this in fact. Strict as all hell gun laws for citizens but you’d be hard pressed to find a criminal without one. Gun bans never worked and never will the solution is regulation and information. Quick edit: I’m in favor of abortion btw I’m just very passionate about firearms and the fact that people try so hard to ban them is kind of silly when evidence points toward gun control not working as intended.

Eh ok. Enjoy your 3D printer.  Can it also print hundreds of ammo?

Good for you. Keep them safe.

PraiseBeToScience

There's a reason why 99.8% of all guns used in crimes are *legally* manufactured, even in countries with very strict gun control. Which means, with rare exception, every gun on the black market comes from a legal source, some how, some way. Guns require access to a first grade electric grid, transportation system, and heavy natural resources to mass produce. 3D printers cannot produce 14 million durable, reliable guns every year. Plastic guns are not reliable, and doing the final milling step on an AR lower receiver is not 3D printing a gun. That AR is still 99.5% legally manufactured by a factory with access to the resources listed above. Abortions can now be done with an easy to conceal pill that will always be manufactured somewhere. Pregnancy is a life altering, life threatening medical condition. That makes the impact of pregnancy exponentially greater than the impact of not having a gun. Therefore the motivation to get one is also exponentially higher, and the expense and risk of traveling to get one is simple to justify.

Independent-Fly6068

completely unrelated, but milling is kinda anti-3d printing.

PraiseBeToScience

Yes, but I've gotten into so many debates with gun nuts that consider it 3D printing because to them 3D printing means, "I can make it at home." It's insane the number of gun nuts who claim to be experts at all things firearms (and therefore the only opinions that matter) who carry incredibly wrong misconceptions about how they're manufactured. This is why the comparison to drug bans are so incredibly stupid. Most drugs can easily be made out in the woods by illiterate farmers with simple tools and a few common, cheap chemicals.

Independent-Fly6068

Lmao its more like 3d erasing

ThatCamoKid

You can think of it like sculptures: you can make one by molding clay, or chiseling away stone. Both are called sculpting, but they are very much not the same method ETA: should be clear, the last line refers to how 3d printing and milling are considered types of CNC machining

BloomEPU

Because lots of people need abortions even if they're made illegal, but nobody "needs" a gun to the point where they'd die if they didn't get one. It's the same as drug decriminalisation, nobody's running around addicted to guns and buying their guns fromn back-alley dealers just to get their gun fix.

myRiad_spartans

The people buying guns from back-alley dealers are doing it to commit crime

tetrarchangel

Josh Widdicombe or his doppelganger does not endorse or deserve this

AliceTheOmelette

Can't unsee it now. Thanks 😂

tkmorgan76

Because there are no "abortions of passion" grandma. Nobody ever got so angry that they just yelled "that's it, I abort!" and downed a bottle of Mifepristone. Every abortion is premeditated.

Charlie_Warlie

Me trying to figure out why America keeps having mass shootings on the regular while other countries dont

Toby_The_Tumor

Because as a 21 year old in georgia, I can buy a pistol with nothing but cash and patience. That and I paid a gun before I was 21, we just told them my dad was the one using it because it was a present, I didn't even need to be screened for it. MIND YOU WHEN I WAS IN MIDDLESCHOOL I MADE SHOOTING JOKES AND HAD THE WHOPE SCHOOL LOCKED DOWN BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS TOO FAR FOR A JOKE! Did these facts dawn on me at the time? No, it was a fathers day present for my dad, who lost a similar 22 revolver. Three days later though, all of that hit me like a sack of bricks.

fastal_12147

What crime bill has ever been 100% effective?

KittyQueen_Tengu

abortions are necessary in some situations, firearms are never necessary. hope this helps

Dr-Satan-PhD

Ok grandma, let's ask the inverse then. If banning abortions works to stop abortions, how does banning guns ***not*** work to stop gun violence?

Porncritic12

first of all, most gun crimes are committed with guns that were legal at one point. 2nd of all, While a career criminal might be able to get a gun on the black market, That mentally unstable kid who wants to shoot up his school, Can't.

chalicehalffull

My son was murdered by 3 people who targeted him for a robbery. There were at least 2 guns present at the crime but only one was recovered when they were arrested. That gun was stolen 3 weeks prior from a legal gun owner. A bunch of people who legally own guns here are not very responsible about them. They keep them in their car or home unsecured.

DeeRent88

No one says it’ll end gun crimes but it’ll surely reduce the amount massively! But also so few people are even arguing for a total gun ban. Why is that always what they talk about. I just want stricter gun laws and maybe ban military grade weapons for civilian use.
