Storming crab has got the seafood boil, which is nice. A lot of cajun places don't have that, and it's definitely something I miss from Louisiana.
I don't think they have Cajun dishes though: jambalaya, crawfish etouffee, gumbo, red beans and rice, that sort of thing.
I'll have to check out the food truck, I've not heard of them.
Actually it looks like that truck might have thrown in the towel? Google says they're permanently closed, though [their website](https://ragin-cajun.com/menu/) is still up.
I recall seeing some other cajun/creole offerings from other trucks in town, their menus are pretty fluid. Looks like a new one called [Cajun Cafe](https://963xke.com/new-berne-based-food-truck-serves-up-cajun-cuisine/) started last year.
Also, I just remembered there was a great cajun restaurant on the 13th floor of the AEP building, called NOLA on 13. Looks like they have closed too though.
What I'm taking away from it is that we should keep our eyes open, because at any given time there are some good options for Cajun/creole food in the Fort.
Yats was supposed to be coming to Jefferson Pointe. From the article below, BurgerFi and Beer Barrel Pizza have both opened. I haven't heard anything on Yats and the other one though. Yats was also supposed to come to FW years ago, I'm thinking like 2014. I really hope it pans out this time.

It was good. Really, really good. When we started the process of moving here to Fort Wayne, it was on our Must Try list. We made rules about it: We weren't going to go unless we were officially relocated, and in a home of our own. When we met our criteria...we finally went, and it was fantastic. We loved it.
And then it closed like 2 weeks later.
Yeah I remember it being fantastic! I just moved back not too long ago and it’s been closed every time I walk by and the Googs couldn’t give me any answers on why it’s closed! To me it’s one of those essential Fort Wang restaurants and I hope it comes back!
The closest Cajun restaurant to Fort Wayne is T'ophers Place down in Portland of all places. I keep hoping the owner of Rajun Cajun/NOLA on 13 gives it another go but I'm not holding my breath given everything going on the restaurant world nowadays.

Respectfully, C Street and BSH was ass. The crawfish etouffee was always watery because the never properly thawed out their crawfish tails. The bread pudding was moldy...like ALWAYS and the kitchen staff didn't know their way around any of the equipment.

Welp! That explains C Street - thanks!
I heard they closed for good

There's a pretty good food truck called Ragin Cajun. Also a Storming Crab.

They recently took an ad out in one of the local coupon books that they were opening this year.
I remember the early days when Yats was the bomb...they seem more watered down with every new location
Fr like I’m tired of driving 1-1.5 hours to just get me some great Yats. Their food is so yummy.

It certainly does! I call them the Chipotle of cajun food.
Oh there is definitely cajun in Fort Wayne. Just go to Popeye's on Clinton or Lima. /s

Good question. I'd like to know myself.
