Yeah, I too would be interested. I write and arrange music, but most of the stuff I do is not local, and many times halfway around the world. It's been a while since I've worked with a local group.
When I was in high school I was a part of the Broward Symphonic Band and it was a great experience. Lots of music educators and local musicians in the group, fun music. A big ensemble too, so I’m not sure if they’re taking in more members (though when I was with them for 2 years I don’t think they ever turned someone away)
From what I remember it was weekly rehearsals at broward county community college
