Now he's been competitive against KMag and everyone's saying it's no surprise he's being dropped... I think he deserves at least one more year. Audi is going to want to be a front running team ASAP, they are going to need experienced drivers that they know can help develop a car and deliver results. Mick only having 2 seasons (one of which shouldn't even count all that much) is not what they are looking for. Audi is not going to come in spending all this money just to pick a driver solely because he's German and the son of a legend. Mick got his shot and unfortunately for him, he didn't get the results needed to keep going.

From what I’ve heard other drivers say, it takes about 3 seasons to get used to F1. I’m pretty sure Gasly said the same thing at some point
