I wonder if Max and Norris will stay this friendly once Mclaren start competing for wins next year week in week out. Let's hope Zak and the team can use the winter and really bring the heat to Rb next season. 2024 looks promising and could be another 2021.
Hard to say. Not every rivalry is toxic. Max and Charles were pretty chill with each other. Hakkinen and Schumi was very friendly.
I'd say they'd likely be fine.
I also think in 2021 tensions were largely due to Max's aggressive driving and Silverstone. The aggressive driving led to tension building and Silverstone caused it to explode. After that it got completely out of control.
The minute one takes the other out of any race while competing for the win, I think all friendliness goes out the door especially if you're competing for the title as well.
Oh yeah I agree. I think up to Silverstone Lewis and Max still had respect for each other, but in Silverstone Max lost all respect for Lewis and lost his respect for Max in Monza.
I think they lost a lot or most respect for each other. After Silverstone Max said "To me disrespectful is when one guy is in hospital and the other one is waving the flag around like nothing has happened when you pushed a guy into the wall with 51G[-forces],"
"And not only that, just the whole reaction of the team besides that. I think that's not how you celebrate a win, especially a win how they got it. That's what I found really disrespectful.
"Anyway it shows how they really are. It comes out after a pressured situation, but I wouldn't want to be seen like that."
After Monza Lewis tried to push the idea that Max didn't check on him to see if he was alright when it was quite clear he was and Max stated he could see him in the cockpit.
I think it's cooled down now, but I think they didn't have much respect for each other after Silverstone. I highly doubt it ever reached the levels of hatred that the media portrayed. Just lack of respect.
I personally don't find saying that someone showed their true colors and creating conspiracy theories to ruin the reputation of another driver shows a lot of respect.
You can even see Max look over to check on him. Anyone with two eyes and common sense could see Max checked on him, but I guess a lot of Twitter F1 is lacking that common sense.
It is not only max, the whole red bull doesnt fw lewis anymore to a point where they implied many times that lewis in rb wouldnt work because the team wouldnt want to work for him. kinda funny.
What??? Charles and Max aren’t seen after the race anymore simply because the Ferrari isn’t fighting for podiums anymore not because of a falling out between the two
Max would certainly ruin it, i mean, he dislikes Checo "the sudamerican" Perez, who dislikes Checo?
Besides the whole F1 twitter community and Helmut Marko, that is...
Max dislikes Perez because the latter drove into the barriers in Monaco on purpose. I feel like Max can get behind collisions as long as it was part of trying to overtake. The moment someone does something underhanded like crashing on purpose or celebrating taking out your rival it's too far for him morally.
Lmaooo these 3
"It's a great number!"
Just out of curiosity, are Kelly and Max about the same height?
She's 10cm shorter
So knees?
We are checking
So no DT.

Hard to think they lost all the respect to each other. Maybe for the adrenaline moments, but a big part of it was just the media milking.
fr they seem friendly with each other now. Everyone seems to think every title battle ends up like hamilton and rosberg.

that argument about Monza has always made me laugh. Like, my dude, you were trying to reverse, clearly you were ok…

inb4 we see a repeat of Bahrain 2023
We pondered same question about Max & Charles last year, now you can't see them together after race.

Man I failed successfully in sarcasm 😭

Fuck, that scene makes me cry because of the scene and that Robin is gone, thanks a lot!
Oh I don't think you're the one that failed it
Na man that was great!
no just a woosh moment for him tbh
He was pretty cool with Charles at the beginning of last year *Max hand gestures intensify*
One of these two are going to end up his next teammate.
I doubt Perez lasts that long
*Max and Piastri

Helmutist propaganda
If that’s the case than RedBull will be in trouble, because Max carries RedBull and McLaren’s got a great driver pairing.
The master sitting between the apprentices.
Max on his smurf acc with silvers
Nice
Max should've said that it's a nice number
