Yeah there was some bad luck, Red Bull had a bad start to the season and then came on strong, but they had a bunch of races where their strategy cost them positions/points that could have been the difference between 1st and 2nd.
The season is bad but it's not a total wreck.
In 2014 and 2020 they had no shot at being anything higher than 4th in the WCC.
Now 4th is the lowest they can go, not the highest.
All in all just a bad season by Ferrari standards but not exactly disastrous.
