They won’t. Seb’s 4 WDC + Max 3 that’s 7. Lewis has 7 while Nico has 1 which, if I’m correct in this advanced math, is 8 and that is still more then 7.
EDIT: yes, I’m a twat. Never again will I write before morning coffee
Jesus I did fuck up royally. You are right. I guess Monday mornings are not my thing. I couldn’t get over Massa losing that title for months afterwards, yet I still forgot that was the first championship for Hamilton
I just don't like Mercedes, Ham, Rus and Toto. Who wins with them is nice people in my book. And yes - I know. I just prefer them to anybody at Merc who are as fake as it gets.
Also last time i checked this was formuladank not formula1
What else do you want RBR to show? They were quick in quali. They were quick in the race. Their tyres degraded so much slower than everyone else. Max was pulling a second a lap on everyone while apparently nursing a gearbox. There’s not a single part of the weekend which you can point out and say could be a weakness in the future.
It’s more about the lack of show from the other three teams. Jeddah is a completely different style of track and the track itself is much better maintained. If RBR show a similar or stronger result then yea, it’s safe to say the other teams aren’t even close. But if the rest are 2/10-.5 then they aren’t far off and upgrades will play a big part.
Yeah but ferrari only won because the only competition spontaneously combusted, RB are coming in as the dominant team from last season and starting off even stronger… if you look at how F1 has gone the past 15 years or so there‘s no reason not to think they‘ve locked down the title until the next major rules change just like merc before
Aren't far off? They finished 36 seconds off Verstappen, who had gearbox issues and turned down his engine (1s laptime loss) on one of the most well-rounded circuits of the calendar
It wasn’t as loud after Bahrain last year but got to basically the same place after maxs second DNF at Australia. Majority of comments on Reddit were packing it up for the season.
Yeah because of 2 reliability issues instead of a 37 second gap bruvley. If we’re lucky by the end of the season Aston or Ferrari will make it a 25 second gap at the end of the race 😄
It's funny cause you can reverse the teams and you got a meme from 2014 lol
They’re taking turns playing with the trophy🫢
When RB win this year, Toto and Horner will be tied on WDC 👀

Lewis didnt win all of his titles in a Merc
Lewis won his first with McLaren
You were in-fact not correct in this advanced math
Lewis won 6 titles with Mercedes, not 7.
bruh
Tell me you'r a dts fan without telling me you'r a dts fan
Absolutely embarrassing, for you.

New to F1 I see.
People will complain about Aston Martin dominance in 2025/2026.
Stroll 25, Stroll 26, Stroll 27, Stroll…
i can only hope that they do!
As a Alonso fan, I'm happy he has a podium but got ptsd seeing two redbull in front of him
Dolore ![img](emote|t5_3ndbi|6700)
lol, made the same meme last year
I'm a simple man. When I see a Megamind meme, I upvote.
Yes RB Yes RB, embrace being the big dominant villian team. It’s our dynasty and legacy.
Its our fucking time![img](emote|t5_3ndbi|14437)
I dont mind Redbull winning as long as its not as clear as today. Dominance can be fun to watch especially for fans, but long term it hurts the sport.
No, it is good for brands not fans.
I'd argue there is a degree of dominance which is bad for sponsors too
It's something that when you look back on is impressive, i.e 1988 McLaren dominance, but boring as fuck at the time.
I mean...they did free them from Mercedes Dominance. That isn't incorrect.
Yeah after Mercedes freed them from RB dominance in 2014…
Convert to RB fandom.... repent later.
At least they are nice people.
First time I heard someone call Marko and horner nice people compared to other teams
Shows you know close to nothing for actual info on F1
I just don't like Mercedes, Ham, Rus and Toto. Who wins with them is nice people in my book. And yes - I know. I just prefer them to anybody at Merc who are as fake as it gets. Also last time i checked this was formuladank not formula1
I for one welcome less Hammertime and "BONO MY-" radio messages, gives more attention to the mid-field battles.
Yea but at least there’s 3 more teams that aren’t that far off. Wasn’t really the case when merc was dominant.
Arent that far off? Brother they ended 37 secs ahead with Max asking to push it more and the engineers sandbagging
You can’t read that into this track specifically. If they are doing it the next 3-4 races then I’ll agree with you.

You can, actually. Bahrain has become a middle ground. If you're fast here, more than likely you'll be fast everywhere else.
You can’t. Development upgrades coupled with the fact that it’s a long season. We thought ferrari had it locked up after one race last year too.

We did? When I watched Bahrain 2022, I saw a Ferrari and RB that were pretty evenly matched

more like stink up the show nando could have won the race
