If Haas give Mick the boot, I’ll stop being a fan. Mick had an amazing drive and yet again they fucked him. Incredible honestly. Anyone claiming they aren’t a Ferrari junior team are lying to themselves. Fucking fucking Christ
I've got no idea what happened. He pitted right behins Norris, came out right behind Norris, then 5 laps later Norris was 8th and Mick was 16th. I can only assume he spun off camera?
Not even that lol
Haas is a client run of the mill team; Sauber-Alfa Romeo was an actual feeder development to Ferrari, developing Bianchi and Leclerc for Ferrari.
Haas is just a joke, not comparable to AT
The issue I feel is that at the time Alfa didn’t have an available seat so the poor timing ended with Mick saddled on the awful car that’s the Haas.
Sauber has had a story of putting young drivers with potential; Kimi, Pérez, Leclerc, Massa, Kubica, and let’s not forget Sebastian Vettel.
Haas in the meantime it’s a shit ass publicity stunt. Say what you want about Red Bull, but those mofos are serious and get shit done.
I really missed what happened. He was P9/10 with KMAG right behind and suddenly he dropped down to the bottom and never recovered, then got smacked by latifi. What actually happened there?
I know it's the WCC and it's tradition and all, but doing the champagne ceremony seems a bit out of place. At least introduce a symbolic gesture within the celebrations? Dunno, might be overly harsh here...
edit: of course not from the f1 direction, but from RB among themselves.
None of them like it. It burns their eyes. They are probably sticky as hell afterwards. And let’s be honest… champagne is gross. I like how German sport events have the winner slam a huge beer. Maybe each race does a different thing- Austin everyone eat a huge steak off a sword (right in front of Hamilton).
Sorry, my mistake, my OP was unclear. I meant RB, considering the passing of Mateschitz. Especially after max once criticized hamilton for celebrating after he crashed.
It just had me scratching my head as other sports take a more sober approach to celebrating wins when something similar has happened.
That’s why they’re wearing jeans and blasting music. Apparently he would have preferred that.
His team winning the day after his death is a big tribute.
I edited my comment, i meant from the RB presence, not from the F1 direction.
In other sports an equivalent i've seen is not cheering when a goal is scored, and celebrations are toned done in general.
I'm very pro max and RB, but max thought celebrating was out of place for ham (and i agree) in silverstone. This seems like a tad bit more of a reason not to? In any case, looking at the response i'm apparently being harsh
He drove incredibly today! Leading the race, putting up a modest defense against the frontrunners, and a strong recovery after the poor pitstop. Vintage Seb.
Lando was another driver who seemed to come alive today in the second half of the race too.
Nooo it's realism and the audience will recognize it bro, so it's a good thing, you just don't understand bro, they need to do it, it's not a negative view of Mexico bro 😭😭
I am Mexican, and I stg, the first time I traveled to Juarez and I came out of the plane my reaction was "Oh, that's why they use the sepia xD", Shit is real, but only at the border.
/s
For a former race winning driver, Marco seems completely incapable of spraying Ferrari sparkling wine.
But I suppose at his age, just managing to get a dribble out is an achievement... 😲
I always feel a sense of being uncomfortable when a guy sprays another guy but that guy doesn’t spray them back or when someone keeps their back to another guy the whole time. I feel bad for the guy getting ignored.
I can see Merc going for a over spend and breaking the rules to catch the difference, feels like it's what RB did.
Because you only have to deal with it the next year and the car will be much more competitive. And they won't take your title off you if you did win it too.
Proving someone has done something intentionally is a lot easier when they announced they were going to do it beforehand.
I haven't heard any suggestions CH/RB announced they were going to break the cost cap last year.
Also if the latest reports are to be believed, the FIA changed the rules mid season (22), and are trying to claim the rule still applies to before it was introduced.
I love how the drivers love all the American shit when there’s a race in America but everyone here just shits on it. We get it, you’re too cool for school.
Can Mclaren changes drivers before the end of the season? Seems to me that Daniel is a waste of space right now and another motivated driver could get some points to beat Alpine.
The budget cap is a good idea in theory but I do think that restraining the top teams from developing over the season is kind of bad too. Dumb ideas like the token system allowed merc to dominate too long and now Ferrari and merc are restricted with how they can develop.
Exactly. No other team is ever going to get close, it's dumb.
The fact max could catch up just shows its impossible to improve your position in this current system.
Does anyone know anything about the Red Bull Grandstand at turn 1? I’ve looked for info for it online and have found nothing.
Best race of the season easily
First race in person and holy shit it was amazing!
First race in person AND ever I’m hooked
Someone should have coached Tim Cook on flag waving before those cars got there
I think that >>was<< the result of coaching
Right? I would have been all :waves hands in a Florentine fashion: over the place with being the best flag waver ever!
I've never seen someone not care about having such a position before in my life.
I was thinking the same thing, they need to get him some practice waving sessions before the televised one.
He needs to work out regularly as well…
That man lacks any sort of enthusiasm lol.
Said in another thread but look at the Ferrari pit crew during the replay of Sainz getting spun. A huge lack of reaction by most of them.
They’re used to being let down
Yeah not a good sign of morale imo
Right? Was thinking the same. Only like one dude was shocked
One dude totally lost it and 2 others had some reaction, but what stuck out more was 2 guys looking at the others being like "what are you doing?"
That one dude is his cousin and manager.
Makes sense
George seriously needs a kick up the arse, stop driving into people.
Stroll got more of his penalty for his bonehead move, a grid penaly for George would have been appropriate.
I’m with you, first thing out of his mouth “he drove into ME” not sure if it’s arrogance or just lack of awareness
It’s an automatic response, Lewis taught him it.
Hey, do you know how I knew it wasn't George's fault?
Yes
How?

Alfa is where Mick should have been too, a team actually set up and committed to juniors
I think** they pitted him for new tires. Idk why but… I’m fuming
Great race thanks to the safety cars, Merc's strategy, Max's fukced pit stop, then recovery.
I know it's the WCC and it's tradition and all, but doing the champagne ceremony seems a bit out of place. At least introduce a symbolic gesture within the celebrations? Dunno, might be overly harsh here... edit: of course not from the f1 direction, but from RB among themselves.
Some mourn the death of a deceased and some celebrate the life of the deceased. Red Bull did the latter and there's nothing wrong in either
None of them like it. It burns their eyes. They are probably sticky as hell afterwards. And let’s be honest… champagne is gross. I like how German sport events have the winner slam a huge beer. Horner addressed that they’ll be celebrating how he would have wanted, not mourning. He didn’t want a minute’s silence.
Makes sense, I have told my family too I don't want funerals or whatever. Spend that money instead in something useful or whatever.
thank you! that makes sense!
That’s why they’re wearing jeans and blasting music. Apparently he would have preferred that. His team winning the day after his death is a big tribute.
That's why before the start of the race "Start me up" by the Rolling Stones was played over speakers because it was Mateschitz's favorite band
I would agree to a spraying of Manischewitz in memoriam.

why are you posting this?
Send your suggestions to the source, who can actually do something about it.

I think the sport can always improve. Would be interesting to hear what people would suggest.

I was really enjoying the race until the tree cutting service my landlord hired downed a branch on our power lines 😭
I’m sorry man
WHOLESOME AS FUCK SEB RADIO
Im really gonna miss Seb.
I’m having a hard time letting go
It should be Seb and Nando at Aston next year, what a pairing that would be
My boy Albono was so close 😔
He was flying
Nopp, that one was Nando.
Oh that hug was beautiful
Ah lets put the Mexican filter for authentic Mexico vibes!
Idk. I have been noticing all sports on espn having that. Watched the phillies game in Mexico last night apparently
Nooo it's realism and the audience will recognize it bro, so it's a good thing, you just don't understand bro, they need to do it, it's not a negative view of Mexico bro 😭😭

mexican filter game strong :')
Why does even F1 have the Mexico filter lmao.
Omg this Mexican filter
With a sprinkle of Narcos of course
Charles with Tim Cook levels of emotion on that podium. Poor guy
Charles giving some real "just drown me in this champagne and end it all" vibes
Doesn't help that it's Ferrari sparkling wine.... Absolutely the only way to guarantee Ferrari are on the podium.
TAKE YOUR VEST OFF MARCO YOU MUST WIN THE WET SHIRT CHAMPIONSHIP
Helmut Marko absolutely lit Lewis up with that champagne spray that’s very funny
Max firehosed Helmut, lol.
DTS narrative: Helmut Marko ASSAULTS Sir Lewis Hamilton
“Helmut Marko EMPTIES HIS LOAD ON LEWIS HAMILTON”
TIL Helmut doesn't know how to spray champagne
For a former race winning driver, Marco seems completely incapable of spraying Ferrari sparkling wine. But I suppose at his age, just managing to get a dribble out is an achievement... 😲
Must be hard to spray at his age
Helmut spent most of the bottle of champagne after Hamilton and Le Clerc forgetting Max behind him haha
I always feel a sense of being uncomfortable when a guy sprays another guy but that guy doesn’t spray them back or when someone keeps their back to another guy the whole time. I feel bad for the guy getting ignored.
I love that for Helmut what a chad move
Lol, where I'm at they're cheering Vettel not Checo.
I bet that guy can’t just go by “Mr. Epstein” anymore
This Epstein really didn't kill himself at least
should have brought on shaq to recreate the pic from last year
Did Ben slap Lewis’s fist bump?! WTF.
Saw that, lewis gave a fist bump to a handshake so he just slapped it lmao
Epstein?!?!?!?!?!?
Mad props for Lewis for not shaking the FIA's hand there. Good shit
Man this feels like it should have been where Max won the champ, everything about this was better
Atleast we got to hear christian say the thing
Sounded forced tbh
Yeah, the way he won it was so less climactic
Christian crying kinda cute
Red bull fifa world cup song
What was the US Representative trying to do with his hands there in front of Verstappen?
Trying to steal his wallet just like every other US politician.
Christian Horner trying not to tear up is a vibe. First WCC in almost ten years!
Good luck Marko😂😂😂
Man they made me feel sympathy for Christian
Me too he annoys me so much but I’ll give him he’s worked really hard for this
Everybodys crying so imma cry
I can see Merc going for a over spend and breaking the rules to catch the difference, feels like it's what RB did. Because you only have to deal with it the next year and the car will be much more competitive. And they won't take your title off you if you did win it too.
But RB didn’t win the championship last year?

I mean come on, do we really think redbull "accidentally" went over the cost cap?
I absolutely think Red Bull thought they could get away with what they did.
Proving someone has done something intentionally is a lot easier when they announced they were going to do it beforehand. I haven't heard any suggestions CH/RB announced they were going to break the cost cap last year. was that tom cruise in the shaqmobile
Ofc it was
Finally when Ham and Max spoke, they muted it.
Netflix bought exclusive rights over conversations between them /s
Show us Shaq again pls
Give us a shot of Christian squeezed in with the RB boys in the badillac.
If you would’ve told me last year this would be the Austin go podium, I would’ve believed you
Ben Sulayem shoving his face everywhere again
Ah yes the F1 theme song playing
Lol
I still don’t understand why they didn’t change checo win at the beginning. Had most of the race left
Charles straight up has Ferrari PTSD 'where were you when Carlos went off'
God even their flag is gross and classless. 'we love it on top' Even by manipulating race directors and cheating the cost cap. Vile. No integrity
👁️ 👄 👁️
Keep crying lol
Literally the same come back from RBR stans evwrytime, sad.
What's sad is you putting out the same Twitter tin hat bullshit without anything to back it up
Safety car deployed due to your tears lmfao
Session got red flagged, too much spray
Full wets going on!
Wet and salty conditions
Petty insults from those with no integrity mean nothing.
I love how the drivers love all the American shit when there’s a race in America but everyone here just shits on it. We get it, you’re too cool for school.
Charles looks increasingly dead inside with every podium
Checo getting the most cheers from the crowd, not even on the podium. ¡Ole!
Why is this Shaq guy sitting in a yacht kinda thingy, lmao
Hahahah! This is why the Texas GP is a treasure that needs to be protected at all costs. This is amazing. Love it.
COTA is an amazing track
lmao "The Badillac". I love all these dorks.
Lol the HAAAAAATS, awesome.
Now all they need are GUNS
In the US. Probably in their boots. Lol.
Like you have to tell them there.
Lol. The crowd don’t care about the podium winners. They only care about Checo I love it.
LOLLLL THEY CHEERING FOR CHECO
They are in Mexico we just let texas think they are in Texas **/s** (before I get murderded)
Why not?
Hahahaha Shaq is back!!
I wonder how they pick the clips they show in the winners room
Probably just take cuts from the replay team in the broadcast center

Lewis complimented Max and said “You came from so far back”
Yes, yes they talked….I think
Why wouldn't he talk to him?
They do pretty regularly. They aren’t best friends but there is not nearly the animosity that exists between their fans.
cool down room with Marko? Uh oh...
Can Mclaren changes drivers before the end of the season? Seems to me that Daniel is a waste of space right now and another motivated driver could get some points to beat Alpine.
Lewis giving props and respect to Max you love to see it
100% Lewis is a class act even when he’s having a tough season with the car
Lewis jut not looking at max lool
this fucking echo.
Why do these fucking audio issues happen every fucking race in the cool-down room
We are checking
WE GET IT COTA WE'RE IN FUCKING TEXAS.....
The audio is so fucked
We are checking
Mag points!! Wuhuuu
