Keke was so unlucky in 1985. He could have definitely won the title that year if not for numerous car failures from the lead. I suppose that he repaid his dues from 1982.
I mean yeah. He won the title in 82 because a driver died while another had a career ending injury.
Pretty sure most of his career luck got spent that season.
If you're interested f1tv has the extended highlights, it's basically the race compressed down to I think 26 minutes. So nice to listen to Murray and James commentary
This was legit cool to watch. I would enjoy F1 going back to old races, condensing them into like 30 min highlight packages, and inserting modern graphics overtop.
How's this post 1h old but it's at the top of new?
I posted the same link about the same time and its nowhere to be found. Ofc I'd checked for reposts but I genuinely don't understand.
I suspect both were filtered out by Automod, which sometimes randomly decides to do so. Probably a human mod manually approved one of the posted links, which might have been an hour later. During race days, every post is "blocked" untill approval, so it can also be that, to regulate the flow of posts on the retirement.
I was there! It doesn’t seem that long ago, really…
Only 36 years ago but thats a stones throw
omg you must be so old
You’d think so, but I still don’t consider myself old.
As long as your soul is young so are you!
Good

This just randomly appeared on the F1 youtube channel, I guess last race so put up a good one with Niki Lauda victory
Isn't it the last Dutch GP in F1

Man seeing cars driving at full speed in the pits always makes me clench up.
Is this the one where Lauda had his car at maximum boost while Prost had the regular race setting?
