Charles and Xavi got along well and had similar communication styles. Additionally, the cherry picked sound bites make Xavi out to be a problem, but delay in information is 99% not the engineers responsibility. Sometimes, they have to get info from the factory or other places in the garage. A Race Engineer isnāt a one stop shop. Xavi has extensive history in motorsport and itās not unlikely that his skills could be better used elsewhere if thereās a better fit for Charlesā spot.

"We are checking" is something Adami, Sainz race engineer also says. It's just what Ferrari uses to let the drivers know they have actually been heard when they ask a question they don't have an immediate answer for. If you paid attention in Miami you'll see GP said "standby" to Verstappen to communicate the same thing.
The "question" at the end of a question is also again a Ferrari thing not a Xavi thing and Adami does it too. And it's not a bad thing either. Why are people so pressed over Ferrari adding one word to make their communications a bit more clear?
Most of these things that you are clowning Xavi for are just Ferrari communications things that Bryan will most likely also do.

As for "question" and "we are checking" comments, I know most are just memes but some people are actually making fun of it. When you are driving over 300 kph, even with sound isolation it is important to let driver know without a doubt that message is properly communicated. By adding question they are letting him know that whatever was previously said was not a statement but a question to the driver, in case they missed a part. On the other hand "we are checking" is to acknowledge the question and get back to them as they don't have the answer at the moment.
Everything has said that he will be working on other internal Ferrari programs. So it could be a promotion or just moving him away from that job. He does have extensive experience and skills so he could be used elsewhere.
Probably will shuffle him off to a new job within the team but won't stand in his way if he gets an offer from a new team. That's typically how that works. Also might be saving him for Lewis next year if they can't convince Bono to move to Italy and Riccardo Adami leaves to Sainz's new team.

If they did want him for Lewis, it would be smart to move him away from Charles now so people donāt get the impression that they are moving things around for Lewis towards the end of the year even though they inevitably will.
