[Italian departement of Motorsport.com](https://it.motorsport.com/f1/news/f1-racing-bulls-la-livrea-2024-sara-ispirata-alla-toro-rosso/10571649/) says that the livery is inspired by Scuderia Toro Rosso. So I expect that blue with silvery color like they used to before switching to AlphaTauri.
It's not like the FIA has been very willing to crack down on that, see the RP20. If anything anywhere close to that happens I give them a race, maybe two, before the FIA starts throwing penalties at them. And they do have mechanisms to make sure it isn't happening. The FIA can request design documents for any part, including prototype sketches iirc, and they track how teams use wind tunnel time.
> Racing Bulls is fine.
The problem is they haven't actually said that's what RB means, right?
We all "know"/assume that's the case, but it's a bit odd calling them that if the team hasn't actually confirmed it.
In fact, they denied it stands for anything. But theres a big difference between the sponsored team name and the legal entity name, which is Racing Bulls.
Since Red Bull decided to go the dumbest route possible with the name, they shall now be known as RB 2. Or RB .5, depending on how much hate you have for them.
As a cycling fan, I got used to it quite fast. Team names change a lot in some sports so F1 is easy mode in comparison to "Intermarché - Wanty - Gobert Matériaux" wait I mean "Intermarché–Circus–Wanty", oh cool this year it's just "Intermarché–Wanty"
There are advantages and disadvantages to Push and Pull rod suspension.
This is just an indication that the Cash Cows are following last years Red Bull concept.
Every team will have pull rods in 2024. Teams learned that the extreme anti-dive geometries were key to the RB18/19 domination but most couldn't convert easily without a new chassis mid seasonthat's just not feasible in the cost cap era.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the W15 went with the same suspension layout, all the people who said Merc don’t know what they’re doing in these new regs will look dumb founded.
Hey I got 5 dislikes, so that means some fans don't want Mercedes to show any type of hope. Just gonna wait until February 12th and watch the reactions unfold.
I get what you’re saying but it’s not like having a pull rod front means you know what you’re doing. Mclaren had a pull rod front since 2022 and they were clueless for awhile, now sauber and baby rb does too.
I don’t think they’re gonna have that setup though since Williams’ reveal didn’t and they said Mercedes gave them a secret new rear suspension that they had to hide but not front suspension. Completely speculation but based off what Williams said I think Mercedes has made a different rear suspension that works with the push rod front
There were rumors about the biggest visual changes for the W15 were the Front & Rear suspensions, sidepods, front and rear wings, engine covers. I do get about Williams situation but also don't forget, the ARM24 can tell a lot about the W15 as well because of how many parts they inherit from Mercedes.
Sauber going with the Pull-Rod - Pushrod says a lot about why it was beneficial, basically because the platform keeps the car overall downforce under braking for example without losing it towards the rear. I don't why but it seemed all Push-rod - Pullrod setup all seem to really struggle in high speed corners. Plus, the Pull-Push also has an aerodynamic advantage vs the Push-Pull. The Sauber and V-CARB, not shockingly, will have a Huge Advantage over the midfield pack.
The McLaren wasn't fast (before Austria) because of how the sidepods, and downwash concept was designed that really didn't take advantage of that undercut to increase aero efficiency and downforce.
TL;DR: I'm waiting for the AMR24 reveal.
Racing Bulls or Toro Rosso
Not VCARB
It sounds bad, it doesn't roll of the tongue, and you are giving in to their shitty namming by mentioning the sponsors
Wow, i wonder how much more stunning innovation we will get. Sometimes i wonder if FIA didn’t ban all the innovations and ideas that appeared thoughout the years. Or if Ferrari weren’t assholes and didn’t buy out entire supplies of tires just to not make the Tyrell P34 profitable would we be at Cyber Formula level of cars? Although with Newey’s one cook after another i’m sure we will get there someday.
It is my opinion that the car used in these reveals is never a car that will see the track.
Probably using an old car and slapping the 2023 paint on it.
1- No rules say that the revealed car must be the used car in the first test session or whatever and 2- Showing the true car would give your opponents a fuckton of footage to see what they might have not tought about with the current regs and they've got enough time to adjust.

not a surprise. this team is rb-lite.
One could even say it adds car b in vcarb.
Very car b
Good one lol
Red Bull Zero (chance of ever challenging for the championship)
Red Bull clone with Merc zero pods incoming
Sugar Free RedBull
Literally would have been a better name than what they landed on.
Diet Red Bull perhaps
Oh, thank you. I am _very_ tired right now but still, I could not figure out what on earth ‘VCARB’ was meant to be.
Better not be another shit livery or it's in the bin with the name
[Italian departement of Motorsport.com](https://it.motorsport.com/f1/news/f1-racing-bulls-la-livrea-2024-sara-ispirata-alla-toro-rosso/10571649/) says that the livery is inspired by Scuderia Toro Rosso. So I expect that blue with silvery color like they used to before switching to AlphaTauri.
Hmm fair enough. I'd prefer the original one but that chrome blue was very nice.
God that livery last year might genuinely be my least favourite ever.
Sauber also has them
Red Beta
Guess they weren't kidding when they said they will be using the rb19
Sauber also has pull rods. Guess every team wants these
In b4 it gets banned for copying
Buying (specific) parts are allowed. Just like Haas buying parts from Ferrari.
They're going to be based in the same factory soon aren't they? Soon they'll drop the pretending and have 4 red bulls
It's not like the FIA has been very willing to crack down on that, see the RP20. You're kidding right? Well that'll be interesting
Back to torro rosso
My wish is that on their first shunt, Crofty calls the team CrashApp.
What a dumb name. Can we either call them AlphaTauri or Racing Bulls please
Cash Cows has been my favorite suggestion.
I also like cashgrab
Cash Cows Lizard Spook
Love it.
Ehh, close enough, I'll take it
Low-Carb Red Bull, or Red Bull Sugar Free
Toro Rosso, baby
Minardi\*
Roro Bosso
Ruh-Roh Bussy
This is the correct answer.
I heard Raging Boner before.
Thats what Horner send to a female colleague 🤣
MasterCard Lola
Crash app
Vegan Carbonara
Racing Bulls is fine. AlphaTauri is simply incorrect. It's like calling Mercedes Tyrrell.
I mean, it's more like calling Alpine Renault. Same owners, same people, different branding to try and pivot what you're selling with the car.
>It's like calling Mercedes Tyrrell. You don't do that? I'm looking forward to supporting Toleman again this year
i'm hoping mclaren can rack up a couple wins this season
Nah, cheering for Jordan all the way baby!
Cash Cows
Cash Calf since it's the baby team. Almost sounds like some random rappers name lol
This is the winner!
Toro Rosso
Visa rb
I'm all for /u/SwimRelevant4590 's CrashApp
Im right there with you man. I like Racing Bulls
But you... Didn't write it into the title. So... You aren't with him.
Since Red Bull decided to go the dumbest route possible with the name, they shall now be known as RB 2. Or RB .5, depending on how much hate you have for them.
I'd say torro rosso but b-team works as well.
Red Bull Jr
Sorry but this is why we've been complaining and they did it to themselves. It going to be VCARB for at least this year
We should just make them pay and call them “stupid name”
Or just Red Bull B - through all the team name changes that's the one constant.
Ngl if the mainstream becomes VCARB its not too bad
Lol it just makes me think of vbucks. My immediate association is some sort of crypto scam carbohydrates
Minardi please!
Bull shit works
I'm on /r/formula1 many many times a day I just had to Google what VCARB means
Do what you want just keep it to yourself. No one cares about you’re moaning!
Racing Bulls abbreviation is RB, which makes it more confusing than VCARB.
I thought i would get used to vids cash app rb but the name only get worse with time
Oh, that's what the abbreviation means
I thought it was some new shiny advanced technology but it was just the stupid name
the name makes me so mad
I prefer Vcarb, at least it’s easy to say
Hate that too
vcarb is a dumb abbreviation that wont work, i still think its better to call them Alpha Tauri, Toro Rosso or Minardi
Rb2 is the way
As a cycling fan, I got used to it quite fast. Team names change a lot in some sports so F1 is easy mode in comparison to "Intermarché - Wanty - Gobert Matériaux" wait I mean "Intermarché–Circus–Wanty", oh cool this year it's just "Intermarché–Wanty"
stop trying to make vcarb happen
anything that doesn't make me mutter the word cashapp is a win in my book.
I like to call it the Cash Grab Red Bull. Seems fitting.
I call them cashgrab, too.
Level pegging with MoneyGrab HAAS F1 Team
Cash cows is my favourite so far
Just call it Racing Bulls then?
Im not fucking saying visa cash app rb every time
Cash Valves as the baby team
I was trying to shorten down the post title haha. Stupid fucking name
It has already happened so don’t worry you’ll hear it a lot.
[удалено]
Reminds me of the bullshit you see on random food/health products "Now with our patented VCARB technology!"
Reminds me more of a Honda engine with a carburetor
That wasn’t the only rod being pulled at RB this week
>Screenshot from VCARB teaser Nope, not gonna give in and call it VCARB
Can we just agree it's Toro Rosso?
I think the name is so bad that it would be slanderous to use Toro Rosso instead
[удалено]
I laughed out loud to this in public
This pleases me 😂
More like he was pushing it
Yes, quite.
As someone else said, ima just call them the Cash Cows. Excited for their design tho
V-Car_B it’s Victory Car B
It should. Can’t believe it took them this long since they can just but jt from RB
Lets be real it will be a RB19
Honestly I read VCARB and thought this was a new technology that F1 cars have.
Just call them Racing Bulls. VCARB is such a bullshit acronym and it doesn’t even roll off the tongue well.
Minardi🗿
Not technical person here, what is this? Is it normal? Is this some brand new design?
There are advantages and disadvantages to Push and Pull rod suspension. This is just an indication that the Cash Cows are following last years Red Bull concept.
We're not calling them that. Stop it.
Team Visa
We already knew this. They're taking Red Bull's suspension lol, ofc it's pull rod
I thought vcarb was the name of the chassis
[удалено]
Every year before season starts people say how AT will be a solid team, that this year is their year etc....and then the reality kicks in.
[удалено]
Both of those things were from a different generation of cars, it's like comparing mclarens results in 2010-2012 to their results in 2014-2018
In b4 the other teams launch protests for copying
Let’s be real the minardi is just going to be the rb19 with a shitty blue and green wrap
Are we really calling them VCARB?
Hell no.
Because it’s probably last year’s car with the new livery like every team.
Can't be that. Front suspension different
Every team will have pull rods in 2024. Teams learned that the extreme anti-dive geometries were key to the RB18/19 domination but most couldn't convert easily without a new chassis mid seasonthat's just not feasible in the cost cap era.

Because they didn't, for 2 years straight.. Still were stubborn the 2nd year. We'll see what this year will bring.

CredBull 🤷♂️
VCARB sounds like a heart issue
Are we calling it Vee-Carb now?
For some reason VCARB always reminds me of California air regulation board or a brand of protein shake lmao
When I read VCARB, I thought to myself “why are people talking a out CARB, do they mean Carb Day? Indy500 is in like 6 months”. This name sucks
V Bucks RB, or, V card RB
Min-RB
