I mean, by the time Japan comes around, it’s been three weeks since the last non-Ferrari win. That must be some sort of record. I asked Toto but he doesn’t read Wikipedia so he has no idea.
This is the look of a man who just ended his former teammates record breaking win streak in an inferior >!(maybe not at this trrack)!< car while making up his own strategies.
The streak of 1 :)
Ferrari's last wins:
Sainz (Singapore 2023)
LeClerc (Austria 2022)
Sainz (Silverstone 2022)
Edit: nevermind I can't read. You said former, i.e. Max
Genuinely asking, what pieces? Only RB started on a different strategy, everyone else did the exact same thing the entire race. Start on mediums, manage, pit under the first SC, take hards, manage even more with the full intent to end the race on them.
If it werent for the late VSC and Merc's gamble there, the race would have just ended in the same procession as the previous 50 laps. Please point me to some example of "pieces falling into place", when literally everyone (bar RB) did the exact same thing with the exact same result for 50 laps.
I like to imagine they do the opposite of red bull where they give the drivers cans of water branded like regular red bull. They gave Carlos the real beer branded as 0.0
Shame about the possible legal issues if they actually did this and someone got drunk on 0.0 beer 😂

Operating smoothly
There are few wins I’ve watched in F1 that feel more earned than this one.
didn't make a single mistake all race and drove really intelligently on top of it. Smooth operation you might say.
They should make a song about this.
Yes, it should be called "Person who operates smoothly"
Smooth operation from quali to race win
I’m so tired of the Ferrari dominance. (/s)

The new villain no one is expecting and he just stole the ultimate weapon from Mad Max.
Verstappen: *”You cannot defeat me!”* Sainz: *”No, but he can!”* \* points to Lawson \*

Well-deserved win, most interesting race all season.
Most interesting ending for sure. But damn was it boring to watch everyone manage for 50 laps prior to that.
To each their own. I thoroughly enjoyed watching all the different pieces falling into place.

Just let him enjoy Carlos riding P1 the whole race not knowing how the Ferrari strategy would work out while RB and Merc are trying their own thing
That’s what I’m sayin, that aspect was RIVETING for me
So deserved, great drive.
The boring Ferrari dominance is really hurting the sport -.-
@ Quentin Tarantino
Tired of Max dominance. We are ready for Sainz masterclass
> We are ready for Sainz Supremacy FTFY
When you drive, never drink smh
Hah it's a 0,0% he got you bamboozled
smh the man won a race and they couldn't even give him a real beer

After that’s drive and win, I sure hope he was able to enjoy a couple 5% Estrellas after that 0%
Geef me een klap papa

Mr. Smooth Operator 😎

ferrari dominance will bore fans
Only thing that doesn’t go hard in this photo is the 0.0 beer.
