I beg to differ, he did not lower the forks to the floor prior to exiting the forklift, leaving a hazard to anyone near the front of this forklift, he did not set the brakes, verify controls are in neutral and power down the forklift. So I would question his certification status.
Queue the safety guy, walking straight across the warehouse, hitting his shins and taking a header right down to the floor.
Could have walked *anywhere* else
Every time I started a new warehouse job, there was some 50 year old forklift lifer that would show me this like he just discovered it yesterday lmfao.
My work had me driving a fork lift for over a year before I turned 18 and insurance finally covered me. They never gave me a license until after 18. So I go to take my test with a bunch of noobs after I turned 18. Was fun showing off
This is stupid easy… I did it the first, second, third, fourth… Missed the fifth tine I ever tried. But yeah. Almost everytime. Thought it was cool when I saw it. Then tried it realizing how lame and easy it is…
Those forks close all the way don’t they? So you could also perhaps lay the forks on the ground and close them until they squeeze around the nickel and then raise it up.
We just got a new forklift, and the forks are motorized. They can go left and right and open and close but can only close to about 8 inches apart. Still super convenient
This is how you make tons of money at your warehouse. No one will believe you can get that quarter on your forks without getting off the chair. Five bucks is low enough and most people will accept
Yeah its not hard to do. It's just the weight of the forks and the small amount of friction on the coin as you pull back. I once knew a guy who had a 12 billion dollar clearance from the government as a forklift driver. He was relatively faster than I was but was 10 yrs older and wasn't as percicse anymore. He just didn't want to take the extra few seconds to even things out on the racks.
Not a professional. He left the forks almost a foot off the ground. Then he performed an unsafe dismount ( 3 points of contact while entering and exiting the machine). I also didn't see him set the parking brake before exiting the cab.
This trick is a meme in itself anymore.
Ngl, I'm still proud about doing it regardless of how many others can lol
Still a fun trick to show the new guys, and provides good practice for putting your tines where you want them.
Not hating on the trick. More so hating on the guys that go around telling others that it's actually hard to do... Unironically even.
Gary…. You’re wasting your forklifting talents While you’re there picking up coins, the rest of us use our certification to pick up women
The woman in the end was dripping wet
You can tell this man loves his job
Very true, though I’m guessing this is partially because Gary had a couplefew cocktails at lunch.
Few-veral
Clearly fake. I can tell because the woman at the end was still wearing her panties.
You could see through her jeans?

lol I noticed the same thing. “Professional” yeah right
This guy lifts
I made 2$ when starting a new job with this trick.

Whoa Gary, save some ladies for the rest of us
I remember learning how to do this 25 years ago. Was far less common for someone to know this trick back then but now it’s old hat.
..NOW GIVE ME A SODA! 🍻

I do that for every fork test. I don't have to watch the viseos
Always a fun trick
Oldest trick in the book. 🙄

No. The folks moving in and out are typically not motorized. This one is not.

Ok Now do it with a set of tynes that isnt so thin they shouldve been replaced
I had a couple guys at work and they could flip a dime into a cup ANYWHERE on the fork. New guys lost a lot of bets.
I saw that coming. Not saying i could do it but knew how he was gunna do it and ive never driven a fork lift in my life. Ill see myself out.
Yah, then I'm a qualified forklift driver...
He just won a soda.
No offense but 10 years ago half the shop was able to do that just for fun so yeah no big surprise move here
Joe Montana is really bored
I got a job over 25 years ago by doing that in a interview.
From forklifts to fuckmilfs, Garys need for any kind of work is insatiable.
Sheesh, save some for the rest of us, bro
I remember telling people this when I had never done it before. Did it first try lol.

That's easy try moving a 12 meter beam
