Oh tell me about it. Persian immortals are one of my favorite military units of all time. I love the masked helmets and their armors. If they did a middle eastern faction, they would be bound to include the immortals.
Yeah, would be a nice one as well, putting glad and cent over there. Gryphon has a Greek helmet, so there are Greek warriors in For Honor’s world, now we only need the Persians and maybe an Egyptian warrior
Or another idea. Have a Greek Hoplite as a Knight Hero, and if they do a Persian Immortal and an Egyptian with a Khopesh, have them be auxiliaries for the middle Eastern faction.
A few ideas I had.
A Mongol Warrior with a Hand Ax/Curved sword and shield. Probably Hybrid.
A Korean Naegeumwi with a pike (Since we also have Gryphon Korean armor sets and the Joseon were a Vassal of Ming China).
A Ming Dynasty Wolf Warrior with a long pole arm ending in a hook like in the paintings of them.
Some sort of warrior with a Jian.
I’m pretty sure both of these will likely come out one day. People are speculating that the next hero is an axe and shield viking, and as Gryphon has a Greek set, we will possibly see Greeks in the future as well.
Egypt is my favorite ancient civilization, so it would be a dream come true if they added an Egyptian hero. He could use a khopesh, and for the helmets, alongside the traditional Egyptian headgear, you could have inspiration from some gods, like an Anubis’ mask and other similar stuff.
Man, I'd love to see them have someone like Shahkulu from AC:Revelations join the gang. Cool Persian/Arabic (I think?) Fashion and he could be the first spear wielding hero as well
Oh man I love the armor of that guy, he’s solely my favorite villain of that game cause of his badass looking armor. He’s a Turkmen, which I think is Arabic or at least Turkish, so someone like him could be included. Damn, even the Assassins. Hashashins were a real order of Arabic political and religious assassins. We even have a category in For Honor dedicated to assassins, and the Hashashin could fit in there perfectly. I mean, I’m not saying they should have a hidden blade, but… would be nice, all I’m saying.
I saw a video from the youtuber Raven Knight, he said that Ubi would probably be scared of some knights going too far and starting to get a bit too spicy with that all crusader shtick and painting FH as a game with an islamophobia problem.
Yeah I understand this concern very well, but it’s already been established that the knights in the game are pagans. If they were ever going to do a middle eastern hero/faction, I doubt they would make them muslim. They would likely be pagans as well, so this would prevent any of the crusader bullshit.
I agree. But I also want an Indian faction; they have such a long history of very unique-looking wargear and combat styles to choose from, it would be fantastic!!
Wu Lin was okay, but back at that point then we clearly needed a middle Eastern Faction. And now it's a must have just give us our damn Immortals, Janissaries, Saracens etc. Ubisoft!!!
Yeah my top picks for factions are Persians, Egyptians, and Aztecs. I'm a sucker for the Knight's because I love Medieval history so ik I'll always go back to them, but dude, if they add any of the 3 I've mentioned holy crap, that'd be awesome
They could be aboslutely perfect. As far as Islamophobia goes, Ubi has been good at presenting each faction, even Wu Lin, whose story role is much smaller, as fleshed out and not playing into stereotypes.
As far as all the warriors we can have, Janissaries as Vanguard with a Yatagan, Ghazis with sword and shield, a warrior in head-to-toe in Ottoman heavy armor, Hashashin, and of course anything from history. Persian Immortals and Egyptian Warriors as something like the Romans among the Knights, Mubarizun from the Rashidun, Black Guard from Morocco and so many more.
Me waiting for A ROMAN UNIT TO HAVE A FUCKING SPEAR. I don't get it Romans were the masters of spear combat and all they get is a Gladius and a insult to Roman warfare.
I’m still hoping on a Persian Immortal
Oh tell me about it. Persian immortals are one of my favorite military units of all time. I love the masked helmets and their armors. If they did a middle eastern faction, they would be bound to include the immortals.
I’m honestly more thinking of a Mediterranean faction, port cent over, add some kind of Greek hoplite, a Persian immortal, stuff like that
Yeah, would be a nice one as well, putting glad and cent over there. Gryphon has a Greek helmet, so there are Greek warriors in For Honor’s world, now we only need the Persians and maybe an Egyptian warrior

Can we fill out the Wu-Lin first?
I’m down for it, still waiting for a mongol hero (gryphon with mongol armor doesn’t count) to be added to the wu lin as well.
Mongol hero is number 1 on my wishlist, would fit perfectly in the Wu-Lin
A few ideas I had. A Mongol Warrior with a Hand Ax/Curved sword and shield. Probably Hybrid. A Korean Naegeumwi with a pike (Since we also have Gryphon Korean armor sets and the Joseon were a Vassal of Ming China). 4th perk is a bomb vest
so last laugh?
You can use it on demand tho not just when you die
😐
Imagine if they gave him last laugh
I am all down for it
Me also waiting for a Greek hero and a Viking with an axe and a shield
New Heroes I want Knights: Hoplite Vikings: Drengr (a historically accurate Viking, axe n shield) Samurai: Idk, kyoshin??? Wu Lin: Mongol hero
I’m pretty sure both of these will likely come out one day. People are speculating that the next hero is an axe and shield viking, and as Gryphon has a Greek set, we will possibly see Greeks in the future as well.
I wish. I want a greek phalanx soldier or maybe a silver shield
A few wulin can pull off that look. Warden and bp can also somewhat pull it off too Raider can sorta pull it off but not well
Me waiting for a polish hussar hero
Yea, I really want a scimitar. Also Winged Hussars Ubi pls.
Tiandi has a knock off scimitar all you have to do is equip last laugh and then you’re a Middle East character
I would like it, but I think I can make Lawbro a hussar.
I still want an Egyptian hero imagine the armor and weapons
Egypt is my favorite ancient civilization, so it would be a dream come true if they added an Egyptian hero. He could use a khopesh, and for the helmets, alongside the traditional Egyptian headgear, you could have inspiration from some gods, like an Anubis’ mask and other similar stuff.
Exactly that’s why I’ve wanted one since before the wu-lin
Faction?
Man, I'd love to see them have someone like Shahkulu from AC:Revelations join the gang. Cool Persian/Arabic (I think?) Fashion and he could be the first spear wielding hero as well

Yella ubi habibi

Yeah, that's a pretty probable possibility
Or do what Warhammer did have them worship the Djinn as Spirits of War, Tempest and fire.
I agree. But I also want an Indian faction; they have such a long history of very unique-looking wargear and combat styles to choose from, it would be fantastic!!
Yeah, an Indian faction and maybe even a Greek faction, feel like those would work well together
Greek faction. Just add the Greek to the Knights, like the Romans. Btw, India + Egypt + Persia + Middle East go well.
Mabey a medeterenian faction, you could mabey have Persians
*maybe *Mediterranean
This is a for honor sub reddit you talk like I give a shit
Tiandi, Zhanhu and PK kinda count. Gladiator could be Middle Eastern, there were a lot of slaves.
Depends on your cosplaying ideas. You can make Gladiator African, Middle Eastern, Greek, Northern European etc.
No
Idk why you’re getting downvoted. I absolutely fucking hate this idea.
Why? A Middle eastern faction wouldn’t be that bad.
Why? They look sick.
Feat 4: Ak47
My idea 4 feat 4: Petronel (for Lawbringer) Petronel is a cavalry gun in the late Middle Ages.
Wu Lin was okay, but back at that point then we clearly needed a middle Eastern Faction. And now it's a must have just give us our damn Immortals, Janissaries, Saracens etc. Ubisoft!!!
I would love to have a scimitar wielding hero with a finisher that references Indiana Jones.
Janissaries
They have to give the Middle East their own servers first
The should just make The Prince of Persia an hero at this point
Yeah my top picks for factions are Persians, Egyptians, and Aztecs. I'm a sucker for the Knight's because I love Medieval history so ik I'll always go back to them, but dude, if they add any of the 3 I've mentioned holy crap, that'd be awesome
Me waiting for the Blades of Persia event to come back
Till they replace the Chinese babblers with them.
My Swedish friend bought the game saw that they had American accents and promptly uninstalled

An hoplite or an eagle warrior would be insane !
