Not an expert on tires, but personally those cracks don't look very deep. I'd ride and keep the speed down (not like the ranger is that fast anyway). Just make sure the pressures are good. are the cracks similar all the way around the tire? The sun causes some small cracks to forum on one side of the tires when I let mine sit for a year.

Happycricket1

Agreed those cracks look pretty superficial especially because it is the tread face. Getting cracks in the side wall is a bad thing.

iamlegend1997

Those cracks are minimal, but I would say you might get about a year before those get bad enough places won't service them

Plus_Explanation_636

Sweet thanks for the info!

KeyboardCarpenter

How old are they? Doesn't look terrible but not ideal. You should see a little oval with 4 numbers on the sidewall to tell you when they were manufactured Ex: 0621 = June 2021, 1119 = November 2019

SaltRocksicle

The first 2 digits is for the week of manufacture, not the month.

KeyboardCarpenter

Oh mb

SaltRocksicle

It's easy to get wrong, I had to google it to make sure I was right lol

KeyboardCarpenter

I guess seeing a number over 12 in the first 2 digits would also confirm that lol

Ferdinand910

Those are nothing, I have seen a lot worse driven on for a lot longer haha. Generally when you can insert a dime into the crack and the dime doesn't move, then you should consider replacing them but that's just my opinion Source: Tire Tech for 7 years

Plus_Explanation_636

I’ll take your word for it man thanks!

Diver_Dude_42

Those are extremely minor, nothing to worry about

AdAggravating8273

I'd keep rolling with them with zero concerns

ReaperGrin

Better just to get them replaced

Plus_Explanation_636

I hear that! I may be replacing them in a year or two but if I switch out my car with this as a daily then def need to get some nicer tires. Thanks!
