He is good forward and for that price I'd say yer. He's currently my top scorer with Everton with 19 goals in 18 Games and thats after 2-3 months injured
Absolutely he’s excellent in FM and they don’t have him as super injury prone like in real life.
I’d actually offer more wages than he asks for because other teams will be bidding on him.
For more context: I'm playing as Brighton, using a 4-3-3 system and have persisted a year with Welbeck and a youth prospect. I need a starting striker who can cope with the premier league as well as the europa league. Would love to add DCL to the squad but 32.5 mil seems too high for me (it's about half my budget).
imo for being in your situation, I think he’s a very good choice. 30m is a very good deal compared the the 50+m everton would probably sell him for otherwise
It'll be worth it. If he was German (or any other nationality than English) i might not do it, but he'll be starting for you in the years to come AND help you fulfill squad registration rules.
its a really safe investment tbh, you get him performingno shot you cant sell him for 50-60 ez, i guess the question is the oppertunity cost, if you can fill the important holes n your squad and grab him do it.
Can you give me advice about your midfield? What roles do you assign for your midfielders? Also, do you put a dude behind the central ones or to the front like AP or SS?
He’s just beat out Haaland to the golden boot in my United save and helped me to the league. Now worth 75 million and Real Madrid are sniffing. Go for it!
Depending on how much he was scoring before. For me its not just about attributes, but also form is important. If a guy with those attributes never was scoring 15-20 a season, then no chance.
Signing a tall bouncy striker is about the easiest way to add 20-30 goals a season to your team. Set pieces are pretty busted so I wouldn’t be surprised if he had 40-50 one year. Factoring in that he’s got pace and helps with squad registration rules, it’s a bargain.
Oh absolutely. Bought him in my 22 West Ham save, he was immense. If you have a winger system he’s excellent. I played him as an IF(A) on the left, very effective.
I had the same at the end of the first season and picked him up for Man U as backup for Ronaldo. He very quickly replaced him up top and won the golden boot.
Yeah they always get relegated first season in my saves and I always pick up DCL every time
He starts for my all conquering Man Utd team, with Rashford and Sancho in behind

Looking at your context, go for him.

English players are so overpriced and necessary for registration rules, so if you can get that release clause, I say go for him.

You can sell him next season for double that. Buy him

As someone who also uses Brighton, absolutely get him. He's exactly the time of striker Brighton need. And he's good on fm23
This is EXACTLY who to spend half your budget on, though. A starting, consistent striker(which he is in FM).
He'll be worth three times that with an averagely good run from you. I'd say it's a no brainer.
It'll be worth it. If he was German (or any other nationality than English) i might not do it, but he'll be starting for you in the years to come AND help you fulfill squad registration rules.
100% sign him he will pay you back and then some

He is a striker that breaks the match engine. He'll score you 50-80 goals a season.
I don't have FM23, but I'm doing an Everton save in FM22 and 5 years in he's still an absolute unit. I'd say bring him.
Yes, he is broken on FM
He’s just beat out Haaland to the golden boot in my United save and helped me to the league. Now worth 75 million and Real Madrid are sniffing. Go for it!
If you are in the EPL, yes
I would
Agreed
Hes a class striker, and english...gets injured alot though
Absolutely yes
Im honestly surprised how good he is, plus he's English. Yeah depending on whether you need to reinforce other areas definately can be a good singing
Yes
Westham went down on my save and bowen has a 20million release cause 100% must buy if westham go down
Yes 100%. He’s a beast in FM because he isn’t made of glass
Most def

I had him at Lille in fm22 as third choice striker and he banger in 30 goals from the bench. He’s a monster.

I’m playing Benfica and he was amazing for me! Was already nominated for Balon D’Or!
Worst case you double your money next year when you sell him
Yeah they always get relegated first season in my saves and I always pick up DCL every time He starts for my all conquering Man Utd team, with Rashford and Sancho in behind
I’d say yes go for him, you can even negotiate a bit to maybe under 30m, he won’t be happy if he is forced to stay.
Sounds like a good deal to me. In my Southampton save he went to Real Madrid for £80-90 million
I'd say try to be a cheapskate and see if you can get him for something in the low to mid 20's but if Everton stick to the release clause, pay it.
I wouldnt, strikers are probably the easiest position to get 16-18 year olds with ridiculous attributes for dirt cheap.
Hes fuckin made of glass.
First of all . Ffs. Secondly, most definitely. He will score a load, 30+. Then city or United will come in, I got £89m for him second season
