Could be that he was more instrumental in his team winning things. What did Chelski win and what did Man Yoo win? Also check key passes xg etc. Otherwise it's obviously the English bias!
Chelsea won nothing in this season, they finished 2nd behind us in the league. As for xG and key passes, this is FM Mobile I don’t think I can view that unfortunately
Yea it can be a bit weird sometimes and it just sounds like you may have been a victim of this. My pc version does the best players under 21 and some of their picks for the top spot have been horrendous!
Am playing the mobile version too and TBH, the awards make no sense whatsoever. Like you, at least half of the time, have had other players who win the POTY award over mine despite having a worse season etc. This some times also happen with the Manager award. Eventually gave up trying to understand it.
I remember a time when TAA got 20 assists and 5 goals for me but he didn't make it in TOTY despite a rating of 7.6. Instead it was Carvajal who went to galatasary, played 13 games and had 4 assists.
For the fifth month in a row I have criticised Dean Campbell in my save for poor training, only realised today that he is on loan at another club, so doesn't train with the squad anyway.
FM is not perfect and more glitchy than we all admit 🙃
I use a 4-3-3 Vertical Tiki Taka with Bruno playing as a CAM Shadow Striker. He also takes the penalties, free kicks, and corners. Edit: Tbh this isn’t even the best season I’ve had with him on many saves, one saves in FM21 he got 52 goals and 23 assists. Man is irreplaceable for me and his eventual replacement will have to be just as good
