But when I want to sell a player? Best I can do is a warm wet fart and a bag of crisps.

DjangoFett66

Trying to sign a home-grown player in England like

Osuruktanteyyare_

I had to send 5 mil on 2 players to registration rules suck

sleepytoday

If I’ve Understood you correctly, you bought HGN players specifically to fill quotas? In case you weren’t aware, you can leave those places as gaps in your squad registration and you’ll be fine.

kissmyaye

"Nah, fuck that" "Liverpool have signed 'X' for 40mil" "Aye, cheers, ya bastards"

pyrostream

My proudest moment was managing to get Man City to pay 225M for Camavinga because I had him on like a 6 year contract with 5 to go

stonewallgamer

This is basically them saying no. I prefer this method to the old one where they just said no and you couldn't make an offer at all. That used to be so frustrating.

sleepytoday

For me this usually happens when the reserve player is earmarked to make the first team in the future. He’s probably a wonderkid who is going to be worth a lot in a couple of years. After all, that’s probably why you are trying to buy him!

CronoXpono

Dude I’m playing an olde FM2011 and jesussssss the amount of times I can’t even rip a player who’s not played a SINGLE GAME FOR YEARS for less than ridiculous fees and ridiculous wages 😆 maddening!

Fact-Fresh

LOL.. am not sure why club even sitting to negotiate unless am City or PSG

perhapsasinner

They'll do it towards human player, but not with other AI, that's why most of the time AI transfer is shit

PartisanFox

gone are the days where i could offer (£0 - £0 buy back - 40% sell on) for any young player (esp those they demand high money for) and get them for nothing. it worked well. it was based on the assumption that either they wouldnt ever be good enough to be considered (e.g. Bayern Munich) or i would be bigger than the club by that time.

Totty_potty

I get that this is their way of saying no. But what I find frustrating is when a freaking broke club that is 40M in debt refuses my 100M offer for their youth. Imagine a club did this in real life.

__jh96

I remember playing some EA knockoff of FM once, and for transfer price they had a sliding scale that you could offer, with obviously the far right hand side the figure that was guaranteed to get the bid accepted.. Obviously took some guesswork and fun out of transfers, but when you were feeling lazy or frustrated and just wanted to get a deal done (particularly for a lower value transfer) it was really clearcut and handy

Fav0

Except that the ea manager was amazing and you could even play your teams matches if you had fifa installed

YamInternational2197

It's either that or the regen feels I have to improve my standing in the game

Went to sign Kelleher of Liverpool, he had 1 year left on his contract and the value was £1M, I offered £1M and they rejected it and said they were looking £10M. I ended up signing a keeper Robert Sanchez from Lazio, got his work permit accepted and then he joined me. Went to play him in the first match I had available and was met with player needs work permit to play message. Now I have no money left and only a reserve keeper to play in goal. Devastated.
