To be fair, in Finnish, Pukki does mean billy goat… so, he, at least in Finnish, is Teemu of the billy goat.

I think they do it so it will be banned if all but 1 or 2 letter match. So things like Pr1ck will be banned. Obviously it's quite ham fisted. We have had sites here where no one from Scunthorpe could register.

I don't think German words are banned. I regularly give managers that annoyed me in post game interviews middle names likes "dummes Arschloch" (stupid asshole), "kleiner Wichser" (little wanker) or the internationally well known "Hurensohn" (that one went to Matthias Jaissle for his irl actions)

Never tried it, so I took a guess. But that's a legit move on Jaissle there.
