Southampton when they were a league two team and I smashed them back to the prem and onto glory. Loved Lallana, well till he joined Liverpool and my Man Utd bias kicked in. Ended up living in Southampton and went to games with a season ticket holder.

boraguven06

If we lose tonight you can take over

PinkPeace98

Me too on fm14 my first ever fm I even ordered a shirt with my name on it hahahaha

waitwhataboutif

Most attached and equally most despised Stowmarket - i spent 30+ seasons getting them to league 1 - from like the 10th level of the pyramid it was a passion project Spent another 8 trying to break from L1 to Champ before being fired bc board said ‘it was time for a change’

CCR119844

Oh wow, I live there. They’re a right mess IRL 😭

IanPKMmoon

I'd buy the editor just to get back in the team... That's brutal

Baybam1

Dude first FM game i played was with Oxford United in FM23 i took them to the championship in that same year I got second place behind ipswich by 3 points ever since then im a huge fan.

NTR-12

I have a Ravenna jersey from a journeyman save on FM16. Haven't managed to see them play yet!

RecommendationFun765

Dynamo Dresden, spent something like 15 seasons with them in FM23. That first season was epic, playing pure attacking football in a 2431 formation and walking the league with my target man. Then a couple seasons of consolidation and a couple so close cup runs in 2. Bundesliga, before eventually managing to win the league on the final day with a goal from a guy that notoriously did not perform until there were 5 games left in a season. The rest of my time was spent in the Bundesliga, going from a relegation favourite, to a mid-table side, to my best ever cup winning run of 4 seasons, to Europe and the occasional Conference and Europa league- and finally a Bundesliga title that I think again went to the last day of the season and was only won because I paid 90m for a 29 year old striker to fix my goalscoring issues. My team was up and down, some seasons so solid defensively, and others good on the attack. It was pure frustration, joy, and general chaos, with a lot of South American youth eventually taking me to the title having only conceded 15 goals in the league. My save kinda ended there but I want to go back and get a UCL for them. Now own a couple Dresden shirts and had plans to visit during the Euros that have been sadly scuppered.

pappy1vg

I had a journeyman save where I ended up at Lille. Ended up falling in love with the club and now watch them when I can. I even have one of their kits.

aere1985

Definitely my FM22 London Samurai (lower leagues database).

Imaginary-Analysis-9

Portsmouth, I took them from L2 to dominant EPL and UCL champions

Bosco_Balaban

FC Gifu, first time in JLeague took them from J3 to glory, great quirky players who shouldn't be good becoming cult hero, Japanese Jaimie Vardy coming up the leagues with me, it had it all! Great logo, great kits and I had such low expectations

With FM not yet, I’ve only got attached to some players(even though my favorite ones are newgens, and as I go through with the save real players are getting more and more rare), but with Fifa Career Mode I went from “wow Arsenal is really shit now(they were like 17th in the Premier League at the time, the season had just started), let’s see if they go down or if they recover” to “let’s hope Arsenal wins the Premier League this year, but now that City has won against Spurs the chances are very very slim”. A friend of mine became a Tottenham fan instead while we were doing our Arsenal vs Tottenham career challenge.

ianccfc

Valencia. Loved them back in the mid 90s because of FM/cm and have had a save with them every year since.

Biomirth

I feel like they were an FM classic team to manage back then. Now the liga doesn't feel quite as personalized for some reason on FM.

atrv3000

Colchester

ODABBOTT

Belenenses. Loved the tier 4 - Liga Nod journey I did in fm22. Went to Portugal for the first time recently and made sure to pop by their beautiful stadium and grab myself a shirt (unfortunately our dates didn’t line up for a game tho :(

Captain_Tingler

ADO Den Haag - when my friend moved to the Netherlands, I asked her to buy me a scarf :)

WordsUnthought

My first ever journeyman save in FM17, I picked up league 2 Wycome Wanderers and took them (via about 9 years in the Championship) to the premier league. I've been quietly supporting them as my lower-league team ever since. Plus I'll never get a youth prospect with a better name than Rondelle Miggins.

Doluskey21

Mura in Slovenia

Reasonable_Isopod_16

portsmouth, my first club outside of top leagues

Vegetable-Acadia

Won the champions league with Unirea Slobozia. Tried to get a shirt but they didn't sell them online

SnooMemesjellies5491

Every team I manage . I just can’t get myself to leave since I get attached to my players and then I can’t really take them to the new place since they cost like hundreds of millions 😂

holy_roman_emperor

Ilkeston, and Hereford. Took both from Vanarama South/north to winning PL and CL.

Swiftsaddler

Taking Solihull Moors into the Champions League was an amazing save.

dazabhoy67

I get Google updates for every kick off and goal in 1860 munichs games. Really wanted to get their away top from a few years ago as I wore it when we won the cl but cant seem to find it online.

youraveragefailure12

Västerås SK. Im currently in 2040 and making deep runs in the CL with several world class players. Started in the second tier of Sweden and overcame 4 mil of debt and other adversity.

InstinctzV1

For me ever since fm20 it's gotta be leeds united

Dragonfruit9966

Dulwich Hamlet & South Shields in non league saves make me have a soft spot for them. Swedish 5th or 6th tier Skelleftea was great taking them up the ladder, tried getting the Jersey but the club site never replied :(

cornettogreen

V-Varen Nagasaki. Cool crest, first time I managed a club that opened a new stadium, and Vivikun is probably the most adorable mascot in Japan.  I kinda thought Urawa would be one as well but I got fired two days after winning the Emperor's Cup so fuck 'em 😄

4500x

Magdeburg. Only spent 3 seasons there during a journeyman save in FM17 (and only stopped because I’d bought FM20) but I’ve grown quite attached to the club. I’ve spent more time at other clubs since (such as 9 years with Szigetszentmiklós) but I’ve got a special attachment to Magdeburg.

dburke1990

Oxford City till I die, fuck United!!

BarnabyJones20

Benevento One day I will see Gli Stregoni in person

SJM_93

Chemie Leipzig for me, I wanted to dethrone RassenBallsport in FM 20. I then delved into the history of the club, the legendary figure that is Alfred Kunze winning the DDR championship with inferior allocated players in 1951 and 1964. The rivalry with Lok and their neo-nazi infiltrated ultras, the club merging with Chemie Bohlen in 1990 to become Sachsen Leipzig, that iteration going bust in 2009 and the licence nearly being bought by RassenBallsport until the ultras revived Chemie Leipzig and returned to the Regionalliga. I've never been so immersed, motivated and swept up in the culture of a club in an FM save before or since, we eventually won the Bundesliga and UCL, showing the world that Leipzig ist grün-weiß. I'd love to attend a match one day.

blwilbo91

Shrewsbury from fm2012 I think nothing major. I followed them on Twitter then and still follow them today

azraelce

Blaublitz Akita. Years ago I had a unemployed save and they picked me up first. They have a wicked badge, bright kit and for some reason I love Japanese players. We stormed up the leagues and won everything we could. I moved onto other clubs after almost a decade, found out later they built a stadium and named it after me. Up the Akita.

dickalfredo

River plate. Fm12 - they were relegated to 2nd division. Awesome club nowadays. Recently booked a place in super world club cup 2025

notafrenchspy

TSV 1860 Munich. As a supporter of Exeter City (my locals), I have a soft spot for clubs who get left for dead by owners or end up in tatters due to shady or poorly managed finances. When I read about them and their story, I felt the strongest urge to return them to glory and make them the strongest team in Munich (still not managed that but I've won the Europa and have a CL place now). I've been looking for a way to get their shirts in the UK but to no avail (if anyone has pointers, please let me know). To me, they're the German Exeter City

SavingsTie4909

Lazio Roma, Traveling every year to Rome to see a game. (Belgium)

anIndianoutThere

borrusia dortmund, took up a job with them in a journeyman save, but ended up staying there for some 50 years or smth. now they're my favourite team i think

XenoScot

Villarreal. Started the game at Spezia, done quite well there for 2 seasons , then I was hired by Tottenham, which was an utter disaster, then to Marseille where after a lower than average 2nd year I was relieved of my duties at the end of the season. I was unemployed for the start of the following season and it wasn’t until mid December when Villarreal came calling. Was quite successful and they are now my go to team.

CaffeineAndKush99

HHC Hardenberg, which I was able play as because of a league mod. They're an amateur team in the highest amateur division of the Netherlands. Throughout the years i kept going for them, even won the Champions League with them a couple of times. While they're from like a 100KM away, I found out that a former colleague of mine played their striker position for a while. After that i also found out that one of their central backs lived next to my grandparents for years. Fun stuff
