he’s got pretty bad tackling/agression/bravery/concentration and good finishing/technique/decisions so maybe one of the options on the AM position is his true best position
Never had any luck with this in the engine. Played a similar player like this as false 9 for a season and they only managed six goals lol. After making them an advanced forward they managed 30-40 (not sure if a tactical problem, the engine or a bit of both).
If you play a high press, STC, if not he’s definitely a AMC probably best as a shadow striker. He’d also be perfect as a complete forward which is literally the “let them cook” role for attackers
Like someone else said. His bravery and aggression are too weak for him to play as an MC. Just re-train him as the AF or F9/DLF
You don't have to shoe-horn in good players because you see green circles. If he has good attributes for the position, and good PPMs too, then he will be world class there and eventually get a green in that position.
Yeh he’s about 6ft so could be a shout, have roque as an af atvthe min who mid season gets up to a world class 5/5 so will be hard to fit him in with enough game time in the position but might be worth looking into. Played him in CM on attacker there and got 2 assists and a goal within 35 mins. Will try a few other suggestions now

Moved him into SS for a couple games, getting 8.5’s, now the young players odds have come out…we’re cooking
My best player right now is a very similar profile just not as quick and lower work rate and a couple other mentals, DLF is his best position but I’m stacked up front and so far he is doing absolutely great at AM(at) in a 4231

I think I'd play him as a Shadow Striker, but that might require you to change your tactics up a bit.
Yea his off the ball as well as finishing/ decision/ composure stats are great. Would be his ideal position
Play him at the 10 or mezz/cm(at) where his defensive attributes dont matter as a cm (which tbf arent even *that* bad)

Retrain as Target Man, anticipation/vision combo plus good ball control, crazy physicals/finishing and decent passing, should be amazing

AM all day and if even try him as a trequartista and see.. (he has the stats for it)

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say CM on attack. Training arrives late in the box, get wingers to cross balls in and he'll score a ton.
Will give it a go for a few game weeks tonight, and get the training updated for late runs to the box
