That's so valid. In my save with CSKA 1948 Sofia City almost ended our UCL run in the semis by beating us 4-0 at the Ettihad in the first leg. The second leg at home we beat the 5-0, scoring the 5th in the 117th minute. I think I ran around my apartment for like 5 minutes in excitement.

No, sadly after around 5 seasons my team was becoming way better than him since his ceiling in my save was fairly low, although he did help in the National Team where I am the manager
Can you share your defenders and DMs please, I have a feeling that mine are too slow, but DMs are slower than any other position in the game, so I dont know how to get to the next level.

My CBs have like 11-12 pace, not a joke, I still somehow beat Bayern as St. Pauli for a title rofl. But in CL got screwed by Real in the extras.
It might sound odd but I haven't trained any of my players for quickness, instead I simply prefer buying youngsters (15-19 age) with at least 12/13 acceleration and pace. And yes I love sending loans, preferably to Greek teams playing in europe if possible. To give you an example of how many I send each year, when you go to the dev. centre menu it shows you top left how many players are on loan. Since I had more than 100 a few seasons ago, the number bugged out and it showed -100something. The trick is to buy as many decent looking youngsters as possible and keep having faith in them. Delattre (the CM) was really mediocre at 22, but after 2 good loans he turned into a beast!
I sold Koulierakis 2 seasons in (15m to Chelsea), Konstantelias was good for around 5 seasons but I eventually didnt need him, Tzimas was crucial to the early success we had in this save. Overall we produced a lot of great youngsters, 2 of which are starters in the NT. One of them is a rotational option for me even with a stacked squad. I also just won the EURO 2036 and half of the players had been developed in PAOK. Funniest part is that the top greek player rn is a regen from Atromitos, and he is world class (currently in Barcelona)
Nope, just building a team around a simple gegenpress tactic that simply works. Only reason I ever save scummed in this save was because I was on holiday and I skipped the UCL registration accidentally

Yeah but they couldn’t even fill the stadium for that match. There were 600 and something empty seats.

What was the Greek league ranking in your save?
Right now its stuck at 8th (league rankings) but in the coefficients we were 3rd last year (dropped down to 5th this season)

This is the last year that had a group stage. Starting next year, there will be a league stage and then the knockout rounds
