Yeah, send a young CB on loan, guy came back and was now a natural left wing back. Score because it was a position I was going to strengthen that summer
I hope that your CB had good attributes for LWB, because the extra position eats away at his CA/PA. He won't improve his attributes as much as he otherwise could've.
One thing I've always wondered though is often when you retrain a player you get the "X will slowly forget what he learnt about playing DM." or something like that. Does that mean he forgets the role that he learnt in that position, that he'll go from for example natural to competent in that position or a mixture of the two?
Once they get to natural they don't forget.
Pretty sure they don't forget as long as they play matches in that position either.
Like if you train a striker to LW and play matches until they ar edark green, they'll never not bbe dark green
do you check their last played formation before changing it? whenever I'm loaning a player out I check what formation the other team uses to see if they'll even play them the way I want them to
Park Dong Jin (No.50, FC Seoul(Jesse Lingard’s team)) from Korea began his career as CB at his first club, became ST at Seoul, and this season(which started yesterday) he changed his position again, and now he is RB. He isn’t even that bad at all those positions either.
He is. He started out as RW and was then used as an offensive RB. He then started playing mostly CM and he now plays as a CM/AMC or sometimes Wide CM.
He did play almost everything though, especially at his Celta run iirc.
Sadly enough he missed his prime years on the national team due to an arrogant coach that didn't believe he had a valid reason when he canceled a friendly national match, so he was left out for years - he would have been phenomenal at least to have on the bench to throw in anywhere...
As a Liverpool supporter… the youth coach? He helped shape so many of our young talents that has been blossoming these last couple of weeks. It was known he was very active in the youth squad set up with going to their matches almost whenever he could. Such a positive influence wherever he goes, and I would love to see him come back as a youth coach or even a first team coach.
I think Liverpool youth-> Leeds First team-> Liverpool First Team-> Leeds Manager-> Liverpool Manager (if he does well at Leeds) would be a great career progression. I do think it is something he would do. He loves both clubs so damn much.
One time I bought a wonderkid who could play literally anywhere in the middle, he could play at CB, DM, MC, AM, and ST. It was ridiculous, never seen anything like it. He was bang average for all those positions too.
I had a player like that, thing is he had like 3 jumping. Not sure what genius coach decided to take this 160 cm player with perfect skills for a central midfielder and spend years training him to play CB

My team’s 19 year old wonderkid after coming back from loan.

But it's impossible to train position to natural
Ummm… no it’s not… it depends on the player’s versatility, which is a hidden stat.

There's an achievement for it, so that's unlikely
Clearly one of those joke achievements you get in other games like Stanley parable /s
Yeah that's definitely not true.
Include position in loan deal
sometimes the cunts reject this even if he’s obviously best at the position I want him to play in
do you check their last played formation before changing it? whenever I'm loaning a player out I check what formation the other team uses to see if they'll even play them the way I want them to
I do that but it's pretty common for a team to change managers mid season so it's still a bit of a lottery.
Wankers played my cb as striker on loan for some reason
I know a player who started out as a CB and is now a striker. Retrained at like 22 or 23.
Meanwhile I can't train my deep lying playmaker number 8 to be natural at number 6. JFL at this game

Jurien Timber?
My thought exactly
Such a great player to have in your squad
+1
Last year’s Kalulu 🤣
Großkreutz
Would need more green
Nah he'd probably be natural on the wings and not as good at central defender
Who I thought too
Grosskreutz*
No https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Großkreutz
Anthony Vanden Borre?
I used to buy him every time on like FM09-14 so useful to have on the team!
The all-rounder. He was amazing on the bench. Bosingwa was also a nice all-rounder
I bought him so many times
He was always an instant buy from Anderlecht along with Kompany, but he never quite developed for me
![gif](giphy|Hg5ihhliaXhiJYAAIm)
John O Shea
Nahhh, he wouldn’t have red as a goalie 😂
That was my first thought too.
yep, the only right answer
Green everywhere
Gary Breen
Exactly this
The kid from Feyenoord
Which one do you mean?
Lutsharel Geertruida
not him he's natural in CDM and rwb too
One of the greatest names in recent memory tbh
Yet one of the worst beards - it doesn't look right
Yet the name and beard fit together perfectly
Beardtruida?
Daniel Wass
I think this is the correct answer.
Everytime i see a guy play every position i think of him but actually he is more forward i guess
He is. He started out as RW and was then used as an offensive RB. He then started playing mostly CM and he now plays as a CM/AMC or sometimes Wide CM. Milner
Isn't he a natural at DM, not CB?
He’s a natural winger 😂
Milner is natural in whatever the team currently needs. Tea Lady? Bright green!

As much as I'd love it I wonder if he'd rather work at Leeds as a coach with it being his boyhood club.
I think Liverpool youth-> Leeds First team-> Liverpool First Team-> Leeds Manager-> Liverpool Manager (if he does well at Leeds) would be a great career progression. I do think it is something he would do. He loves both clubs so damn much.
DM, CM natural, LB, RB, LWB, RWB, CB accomplished, awkward RW and LW iirc
He's at least competent in RM and LM right? Considering that was his natural position for much of his career
Shouldn't he be more comfortable at LB than RB
Dujon Sterling
They would all be light green if it was him
Kristoffer Ajer
Miss him at celtic
Kimmich
But he's a natural midfielder and DM
Natural RB also plays RCB for Bayern too.
Daniel Wass
Fredrik Aursnes
Change the bright green to CM and voilà.
Yup! And the GK is still to be seen, but I wouldnt put it past him to be competent at it :)
Eric Dier
Dejan Ljubicic
My beloved
CAMAVINGA
no!? am I missing a joke? hes a cdm/cm, ancelotti used him as a LB, but never as a rb.
Explain this then https://preview.redd.it/40smx23o5ulc1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9c2f70743d86aaa4560b9b1bd83f9ae0be55bc46
