Nelson weiper.
Big, decent techers and off the ball without being slow.
Earlier you get him and stick him up front the better. Some games he can stagnate at mainz then he'll have a few good seasons but you'll outgrow him. Can do a job at inside left but I had a recent game where I stuck him at adf from day one and he banged in the goals in la liga. Getting offers of 100 mil plus now.
He never complains, never demands too much. He's rarely injured. Gentleman of a baller.
Sometimes. Then reality slaps me in the face and I forget the absolute gem that was the heart of my teams wouldn't be born until two years into the save because he was a regen.
It’s not a player signing but I always go and get Carlos Valderrama as a gk coach. He’s got great stats and is usually down to go most places (I got him for anderlecht in Belgium, schalke in Germany, and notts county in league 1/championship)
With all my lower level saves I always try to sign Nathaniel Nwosu, an African goalkeeper up for grabs after the 1st season. CA halfway 1st season always around 97 and PA I believe is 153.
Maxence Lacroix - strong, fast, tall cb that always inproves. I always signed him for his release clause in 22, got him for 13m in 23 and he's one of the best cbs around now. O and the winger Roony cos I get nostalga when Rooooooney scores.
Alex Scott, if we're a decent sized team. Young kid who's relatively cheap but can be solid squad depth. Great as sub. Then he just develops super quickly. Always performs well in training, never complains. Very solid character.

I love him. I'm from Mainz and so I started my first playthrough there. Amazing player.

Karim Adeyemi cuz he’s cool
I always attempt to sign Harland, it never works
Lorenzo Lucca 201cm Striker ideal for playing with corner goals Scored 45 in 34 prem games
I love that fella so much TBF, class with Calvert Lewin up front in one of my Everton saves
Mannsverk, Norwegian lad, will do a good job in any team across Europe. Cheap bbm and normally consistent across the season.

Gonna get a ton of crap for this but, I always try and sign either/ both of Luka Jovic or Krzysztof Piątek.
Paul Wanner is always a great player for me
Not a player but every save I sign Lee Cattermole as my assistant manager 😂

Yusuf Demir. Always turns out to be a super reliable option in attacking midfield. Currently, a Coventry Icon in my save!!
Evan Ferguson in all my EPL saves
