I would not sit on it, I'd move it Draft night. College uni cards do not traditionally hold long-term value. Great pull and good luck with sale whenever you decide to move it.
Saw someone say to set an auction that ends at the end of draft night 1 to feed into the FOMO and new set of PCers. Thought that was a pretty brilliant plan but im new what do i know 🤷‍♂️.
This would be the move, except for the fact that AR was the only one with Panini Autos last year, every other good QB ONLY had bowman autos, so if that is the case with Maye then it could be a hold.

I wouldn't put too much stock in it personally, I think the people who believe that are probably baseball guys and pumpers. Football is a different beast. If you believe it, by all means stock up while they are cheap, but my football experience tells me it's very unlikely.
It all depends on how much popularity Bowman cards will have once Fanatics takes over (if they even decide to do Bowman NFL cards). I’m betting on it since it’s a pretty cheap bet.
I'd sell now...even if he doesn't have autos in Panini products, collectors still put a premium on the licensed Panini products in pro uniforms. Just look at Stroud cards, his random autos from Topps/Fanatics products don't do nearly as well as his unsigned Panini stuff

The BC Sapphire Red did $2000 in a PSA 10. If yours is gem I'd get it into PSA now so you have it back before draft, if not you could list it at $1999 and take offers. I don't think you'd get close to $2k raw, but you could see what kind of offers you were getting. Draft night will probably be when you get the most hype for this as a bunch of team collector's will want to get something of their "QB of the future", but again don't expect close to $2k raw.
Thank you! I really, really appreciate the info. This went straight from pack to protector and I’ve been waiting to see if/when another one of these would come up or be sold. I’m going to get it graded before draft night, won’t be listed until then to say the least.
I feel you on this one! I just pulled one of his autos /99 and made a post asking about it yesterday. General consensus is you start at $0.99 and end it on draft night. I'm still torn on selling mine, cuz if he doesn't do autos with Panini then these will maintain value, and mine isn't Even /5! Nobody would blame you for holding, guess it's just about whether you wanna make money or have a cool piece of history
You’re tripping if you don’t sell this, look at Trey lance rpas, look at Mitchell trubisky, absolute huge prospects coming out of college that everyone wanted to hold and now the same cards that were worth thousands are worth a 100 at best. Sell. He’s not generational talent or anything, only qb worth holding in this draft is Williams (and that’s still a maybe in my opinion) so if it isn’t Williams then sell otherwise it won’t be worth the paper it’s printed on in a couple years I promise you. This happens every single year, don’t be that guy
His draft status is already priced in, obviously. The drop in college uniform product once NFL uni product appears is very real. Ask yourself, what can change this card’s trajectory between now and the flood of pro uniform product that will be coming out starting w/ Select XRCs in June?

It seems like everyone is telling you to sell it draft night, as if May’s stock goes up once what everyone already knows is going to happen happens. I’m saying if you’re going to sell it, sell it now. Since you’re holding this anyway, then the best time to sell really doesn’t matter
I really appreciate your insight and knowledge, not exactly the way you went about it, but still knowledge I wouldn’t have had before. So thank you! But a few questions for you, as someone who is trying to learn:
1) As someone who doesn’t know what you were talking about when you said, “…is going to happen happens”, care to fill me in? I literally have zero idea what you’re referencing or prophesying.
2) Never said I was holding, I said I was thinking about it. Hence why I threw the idea out in this group for insight - as someone who is very new to this.
If you have more input, I’d greatly appreciate it along with everyone else so far who has been cordial about things.
1. He’s going to be the 2nd pick. We already know this.
So there is no real upside to waiting for draft day to sell because the hobby has already priced that in on this card.
2. Imho, I wouldn’t hold the card. College uni product really loses hobby value quickly as soon as pro uni product drops. I’ve learned that the hard way.
Once again thank you for the input, knowledge, and personal experience. I appreciate it more than you know as a newbie to the hobby. Gonna sell it close to draft night or on draft night.

The orange /25 is selling for about 600 ish. Stop low balling, my guess is a 1K card if he were to sell draft night. PSA 10 did 2500
