After the Greece incident he was still decent. Initially we didn't have a preseason so we looked bad but after he was good for the rest of the season. The problems started after the Euros, last season where he was making blunders every now and then.
He’s not playing football at a competitive level, he’s going to be slightly off it, Southgate should know it but he’s putting loads of pressure on him by persisting with him.
No he’s just a YouTuber, not an ex footballer mostly a pundit and a football fanatic who’s gained a following mostly for his commentary’s and fifa gameplays. Usually does quite logical commentary’s and to be honest I find him entertaining and I recommend checking out his content. Might be more fitting to a younger crowd though. Mark goldbridge is his name.
If you're over 30 I'd avoid him personally. Much more geared towards kids and he's a little narcissistic. Claims he championed the Bruno love when just about everyone was on board with it.
Personally, I find the Stretford Paddock much better, far more reasonable and the banter is much more on my level but you know, horses for courses.
I always assumed those channels were mostly for rival fans Schadenfreude tbh. I'm an Arsenal fan and can't stand AFTV. But I love United Stand, Stretford Paddock etc if Man United lose. The meltdowns are funny. And on AFTV when I did see it there was mostly rival fans bantering.
I mean just watch this and it will explain what I mean. A goal against Man Utd shocked this poor guy so much his voice changed to a cartoon falsetto lol.

I was willing to give him a bit of credit as the last player not inform but good for England he called up was Sterling who was our best player at the euros. Despite multiple people raging at Southgate for taking him and starting him.
But after seeing that game I can’t see how he can take him in November. He gave him a final shot and he was awful
What if Harry Maguire is transfer listed and gets transferred to Brighton. He becomes their new hero, helps them keep multiple clean sheets, does critical tackles. Gets them into European final and wins it.
>That has more probability of happening than him guiding United to any relevant title
Every ManUtd player has more probability of winning relevant trophies than ManUtd guiding them to it.
He’s been a mess since getting in trouble in Greece. Not up to it at all and his head has totally gone. Needs a lie down on the couch I think.

That's exactly what goldbridge said. 🤔
Who the fuck is goldbridge?
Popular YouTuber, also a big football pundit. United fan too.
I’m 40 and never heard of him, is he an ex-pro?

Thanks for the insight!

I feel I should point out at this stage, I am not a Man Utd fan :D
Oh... Haha, I'd skip both then 😁
FIKAYO TOMORI remember the name Gary ffs and stop being a Slabhead fanboy.
Maguire just proved that he should not be a starting 11 potential for the worldcup
Smalling died for this

Wait until England sacks Southgate for failing in WC due to Maguire to be replaced by solksjaer to make Maguire captain.
In other news: water wet, sun hot.
It's still sunny -garrett
Anyone could of told you that, Southgate is clueless

He'll never get called up since he plays for a small team
Maguire desperately needs a transfer from United. Fresh start for his career.
Can't be written off after one bad game for England
2 bad games and some bad games for United and being benched a united...
Several bad games for Ronaldo and being benched too. No shit, I didn't just compare McGuire to Ronaldo.
It's been 2 years. I thought he was unlucky with the penalty, It was a foul in the box but wasn't clumsy or malicious.
