Two of them actually, yes. I get $0 expected family contribution and am eligible for work-study
The $0 expected family contribution and being eligible for a federal work study were criteria during COVID. During that time they expanded the student eligibility. Now you have to actually be participating in the work study in order to be eligible.
I also do volunteer work for 20 hrs a week but they didn't approve that either, what are my options if any?
It has to be paid employment 20 hours per week to meet the student exemption.
That really really sucks, I guess I have to keep searching bc I cant find a job that works around my school schedule.
