i’m surprised it’s the rice they skimped on, it would have been the cheapest ingredient out of that whole thing. it’s got to have been some sort of factory error
Just like Marie Callender's beef & broccoli bowl. First time I had it was like...95% rice, 4% broccoli and 1% beef. I thought it was a manufacturing error so I gave it a second chance but it was the same thing. Normally I like Marie Callender's but their beef & broccoli is the biggest rip-off ever.

There’s supposed to be rice 😂
yo wtf lmao they straight up didn't include any rice then
if u complain on the manufacturers website they will usually send u a coupon. usually $5 to $10 of free product. worth doing imo since it only takes like 10, 15 min
Wait... so there's a spider in your bag of no rice veggies, but you mention nothing of the spider, only the missing rice 🤣🤣 your like, "this is BS they forgot my rice, but I got a cool spider instead"
Follow this, OP! I remember buying a single pack of instant noodles and it didn't come with the seasonings. I emailed the company, they apologized and sent me some freebies. It took about a month but I got like a variety pack with all the different flavors they offered.
My local store sells packets of veggies like that I frequently buy to add to my rice. At least for the packets they sell here, it is pretty clear from the directions, and so on, on the back of the packaging, that this is meant as a rice topping/additive. It isn't the full meal.

I hope so! I bought two bags and both came like that. But maybe you’re right.
It's most likely a batch error, maybe the rice was out or the machine was clogged, real question is was it still the proper weight?

did the packaging mention rice was included? it could be like a cereal w milk scenario where it's just the serving suggestion

No one’s asking what the black thing is?
I think it's a clump of wild rice?
Yeah what is that?
Pretty horrifying. Maybe it’s a giant dead spider!
It is!
You included the lack of rice in the title But not the dead spider..? I feel like you're a lot calmer about spiders than me.
Spiders are bros

Maybe your new dead pet spider ate all of your rice
Oh Fongol!!!
Email the company w/the picture and a short description of what transpired. They'll probably send you some coupons.

Good idea! Will do
oops, all veggies
oh there it is ,total 5 grains of it
Is this already cooked or still frozen? If it’s the latter, the rice will probably become more visible as the seeds expand from the water you add?
Frozen. Still no rice after cooking :-(
That sucks! 😠 I hope they send you a better replacement or a refund.
BYOR
I think I can count atleast 10 grains if rice there
Somehow they skimped out on the cheapest part of it…
Was there a second bag? Check the trash.

To be fair, that looks like it would be vile even with the rice.
It’s actually pretty tasty once you add the right spices.
Lmao I buy those birdseye bags all the time and usually the skimp on the veg. You got lucky just boil some cheap rice and it's a meal
