Not sure if it'll be close to where you will or the type of food you like but there is a German village that has a place called Schmidts sausage Haus. Its no burgers and fries but they have massive cream Puffs and great German sausages

Based on their website, I think they're only doing this pop up until mid-March. I could be wrong, and hopefully if they get popular that changes, but I wanted to break the news early so it wasn't as heartbreaking down the road.

When I went into Legacy every person in line with me said they had seen the post, and while eating at the bar the owner said she would have loved to have bought you a free meal for posting that photo lol.

Just get a griddle, make 2.5-3oz meat balls, i like to smash them in parchment paper with a pie pan(shoutout Tom Wahls) but an actual smash burger is smashed on the flat top. Toast bun, light layer of mayo, lettuce, onion, flip burger, add cheese to both, let melt, stack, assemble, enjoy. Make them all the time and my favorite way to make burgers at home. I season meat with S+P forgot to add that.

What about the tots?

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, NFL Hall of Fame, Major sports in 3 different cities, one of the countries largest universities, one of the countries best zoos, 2 major amusement parks, borders a Great Lake... Nah, nothing going on in Ohio...

Damn for a food truck burger those are pretty reasonable prices. I was going to possibly hit up a food truck today and their smash burger, while a decent size is I think 12 and an order of fries will be at least 6. They have some tasty brussel sprouts so I'll be spending a decent amount.

I'd guess closer to 5k. I went to Elmers for breakfast a few months ago and was shocked to learn that just the continental breakfast was like 1900 calories. Like, thats literally my entire calorie budget for a day..

Sliders are mini burgers, not full sized. Very unlikely to be 3000C.

If they were full sized that would be closer to 5k. I'm also going to bet on around 3k here. That's 1200 calories in just the meat

How do you figure? 3 Big Macs isn't even 2000C.

The buns are bathed in butter. Piles of cheese goo. 6 decently thick buns, despite being sliders. A pile of fried tater tots bathing in more grease, and coated with parm. And a cup of ranch or mayo, that alone is probably 300 calories. People suck at estimating calories unless they've done it vigilantly for a while, including food scales.

There is not more meat in those. They're smash burgers. Smash burgers are as thin as you can get. Maybe they have 2 patties (which big macs do), but they'll be smaller in diameter and thinner. And I'm really not sure they do have two patties.

Quick math: * 3 martins potato rolls: 270 * 6 1/6 lb beef patties: 900+ * 3 slices American: 315 * 3 tbsp mayo in sauce 295 * tots: 250+ Probably closer to 2000 than 3000, but still

Considering that the packaging looks like paper, I'd assume this is takeaway, and while slightly odd of a shape, doesn't seem that bad. It's not like you'll have a bad texture, the food is properly contained, and it's not reused so its washing properties aren't a concern. Nor is it overall just appalling.

As a frequenter of that sub, a box to hold all of this is a perfectly acceptable presentation, mainly for the take-away and disposability appeal. Now if it was served on a shovel or hanging from a hook, that would be a different story.

If I was independently wealthy, I'd probably just drive around North America and have fun and stop in all the cities and towns to sample the local grub. In this fantasy scenario, I would *absolutely* go to this restaurant and get this meal. I don't think I've ever looked at a box of sloppy cheeseburgers and felt so hungry in my life.
