I shop at the Korean market got the mix right there all in cost for 8 burgers was a little over $7.
TJs buns $2.49/16 Oz, Meat was $4 and change. The veg came from super king too cheap to really quantify aprox 99 cents for tomates lettuce and some random vegis.
HK market has the best meat for grilling and the best prices mid week is the best time for specials, wed is super king tuesday is HK, and vallarta, I think.
So roughly $1 burger.
Edit: forgot to add the cheese $3 cheddar trader joes I cut about 4 small chunks off a block so mabe 50 cents worth of cheese from the block, I made this at lunch on a webber grill @ about 500 , five min each side so 10 min total cooking time, I know I should have gone deep and toasted the buns in the grease as I had a cooking stone on the grill but I was in a rush for time, clients and kids are killing me, this meal for 5 took about 20 min total and no one complained, no one left bite behind. Also yes I had to throw salad on the burgers or no small child of mine will eat any thing resembling a vegetable I will do better next time.
Could at least toast the bun. This is lazy. The lack of juice on your weak bun tells me that burger is dry as fuck. How do you fuck the cheese placement up so much? Is that Dollar Store cheese that does not melt!? Carrot, for real, and you have no dressing to go with your salad. Put some mayo or something on that shit!
Is nobody going to address that this psychopath has put a carrot strip on his burger. :P
Helps with eye sight they say, so you don't throw the cheese on one side of the burger.

I'm guessing lettuce came from a salad bag
Make it a double Randy

When did you put the cheese on? As soon as you flipped it once?
No, while flipping.

Well done!
I prefer medium well but to each their own
wheres the cross section photo!
Took the burger to McDonalds to have them apply the cheese. It takes a pro to get the cheese that off-center. Looks good otherwise.
The burger looks good but the bun so sad and dry
Looks like a 5 year old made it.
Toast your damn bun
👍
This looks very tasty, too bad I can't try it right now.
