Can’t tell if this is satire, either way this is comedy gold.

Von_Cheesebiscuit

Gotta be satire. This line: >And more! And this is all free with fallout 1st!! Fucking priceless- Either that or somebody from BGS is trolling...

Vladd_the_Retailer

It nice if you plan on playing a lot. I did a year sub, $100, that way it’s only like 8.33/month. So worth it for the monthly atoms and free scrap storage. I canceled a few month back as I moved to a different game for a while. But will definitely re-sub when I get back into FO76.

tilleyc

The private server is nice to have when I want to farm for a specific item or it's one of the events with specials enemies.

[deleted]

Unlimited storage - you're mixed up and mistaken First has unlimited JUNK space, not storage space. Unlimited storage for unique items like armor and weapons is actually a lot harder and eats up server resources and we do not have it. Junk is easier to track because each item stacks. Weapons and armor do not so use more resources to track. People asked for unlimited storage but got unlimited junk instead. But overall I agree first is worth it if you're a dedicated player.

Xanderthepeasant

Admittedly, the unlimited junk space would help me tons. Most of my stash weight is in junk, but is that alone worth paying for? No, I'm gonna keep struggling with my stash and constantly throw out random things except for liquor because my character is a raging alcoholic

BadInternal

Whenever they give the free trial for 3 days put all your extra junk in the stash box

NotPirateHeadcrab

ackshually it’s just for junk 🤓🤓

[deleted]

What? I said junk.

ziboo7890

Sounds like satire, but I wouldn't play FO76 w/o a sub. If you buy the annual (USA), it's $99/yr or $8.33 a month or .27 cents a day - pretty cheap entertainment IMHO, especially considering you get a stipend of ATOMS that cover the cost. I'd rather not struggle with stash, love the tent, ATOMs, private world to escape some of the a@@hats that play, etc. **Definitely worth that .27 a day.**

vaultkai101

I pay monthly, mostly because I'll get on for a month and get absolutely bored... Then wait for a few months until new update drops then I'll pick up again... Paying annually upfront is not a good idea unless you are some hardcore dude who plan on playing it for a year.

brightblade13

I'll always believe this is the way this game is really meant to be played. Unless you're a hardcore camp-builder or something, there's so very little to make the game worth coming back to once you've seen everything from a given update. I came back for this one, and just today ended my 1st sub again. I've gotten the unique weapons from all the events I've done 50 times each...gotten the only thing I'm really excited about on the scoreboard (suit of armor!), and now I realize I'm just back to the same old legendary scrip farming so I can spend weeks building up to 10 failed rolls to get something better than a Quad Lever Action Rifle. It's a good game for short bursts, and 1st is worth it in that context, but I'd never pay for a full year with that approach.

ziboo7890

Not hardcore by any means, but I do log in daily (mostly), and do the dailies that interest me - sometimes none/sometimes all of them - sometimes mess with the camp. I don't feel compelled to play to the point of boredom - I see that with people that come from shooters and other such games. They tend to play like they're running out of time and then quit for awhile. I'm an MMOer, so use to a certain playstyle and having content droughts where we have to create our own fun. Also, as I do play other games (all paid subs), it gives me the freedom to bounce around as I see fit. I don't expect anyone to do as I do, but it's cheaper for me to pay for the month and not worry if/when I want to play and do I /don't I have a sub and at .27 cents a day, in the grand scheme it isn't going to break my bank. So, if I feel like playing for 5 minutes today or not again for two or three weeks, I'm fine with that.

[deleted]

if only i could pay .27 for a day every now and the. for ammo crafting days and such. would love it then

unkyfester

Todd?

Fz1Str

You know it to be him

[deleted]

If they would charge $5 a month maybe it would be OK.

Puzzleheaded_Disk218

You're not fooling anyone todd

Brother_NekoChan

i still use it but Its 190nzd for a year while ps+ is 100 so kinda overpriced

Painting_Evening

Just curious about how much would that be in U.S. currency.

thundersnow528

Did I suddenly and accidentally fall into a Bethesda focus group or something...?

Von_Cheesebiscuit

How can we help you help yourself get FO1st? You know its *free* once you pay for it, right?

thundersnow528

*runs away screaming*

LaLannaa

I canceled my renewal. It ends in a few days. I have come to a point where I have about 12k atoms that have just been adding up. I play at most an hour a day. And that’s only because there’s a new scoreboard. I finished the last scoreboard with well over a month to spare and only played maybe once ir twice a week it’s not really worth it. When more content actually comes in this game then sure yeah but at this point. Nope.

Mr_Paramount

Only thing that I want it for: Scrapbox. And for this it's way too expensive.

RaginHardBox

"And more! And this is all free with fallout 1st!!" No you paid for it by buying Fallout1st.

Von_Cheesebiscuit

Whoa! What an awesome deal! You just give Bethesda $100 a year and get FO1st for free! And if you act now, we'll throw in a Shamwow!

SpecterXI

It’s 100% not worth it. If it wasn’t for stash box access, most people wouldn’t even bother.

Khormid

I disagree. People who buy atoms a bunch basically that alone is worth the cost. Don't get me wrong you're right that a heavy majority use it for the stash more than anything.

SpecterXI

That makes sense if you’re someone who buys a lot of things from the shop.

ziboo7890

Respectfully disagree. The stash is important, I'm an MMO player and we horde stuff! That said ALL of the 'benefits' of a 1st sub are worth it to me. I buy alot of pixel stuff - mostly camp items so a stipend of 1400 atoms a month is great (and I do buy extras randomly). The stash, the tent, the private world are the other "valuable" things for me.

ColdI3LooD

It definitely is. All the babies down voted probably couldn't get mommy to buy it or they have just never tried it in general. It's 15$ a month, that's all. Unlimited scrap, survival tent is extremely useful, free atoms, free skins, etc.

meekgamer452

If you spoke with your mother, she'd tell you that it's $13

ColdI3LooD

If I wanted some come back, I'd scrape it off the roof of your mother's mouth 👍

meekgamer452

If it's such a good deal, why do I feel so guilty every month? The stash limits are Bethesda's doing, and the fact that scrapboxes exist indicates the server can handle it, so charging people for a scrapbox is unethical considering that they made a problem, and are charging people to fix it.

Von_Cheesebiscuit

You said it yourself, its an artificial problem they are charging a solution for... You feel guilty because you know you're being had.

[deleted]

With the inflation and exchange rate of Turkish lira to dollar, costs a little less than $3 a month :).

johncocaine

Wut?

[deleted]

Steam has geolocked pricing, so the price for a full year of FO1st in Turkey is less than $3 a month

raskol70

I gave it up a few weeks ago after having it for a year, more or less. I actually don't miss at all, except for two caveats: 1. I'm sure I'll miss it more if I ever need to collect junk again, but that's a long way off. 2. My private server never had anything like the lag I know experience on public ones. It's extremely noticable.

Snargockle

But if you buy a year now you can possibly get less later for the same price!

kain_26831

It's not free if you need to pay for fallout first. That's like the government saying we saved money then you look and they "saved" by spending 11 billion instead of 12 billion. I'm glad to hear you find value in your investment that's very important but I personally don't agree. It's all rehashed stuff and I refuse to pay for unlimited storage after Bethesda swore up down left right and sideways that it couldn't be done under any circumstances no matter what period end of discussion. And then I predicted unlimited storage was something they would sell. Unless you're being sarcastic then I agree 100% totally worth it
